I'm always concerned people are able to see right through me and my actions, when most of the time, all they see is this confusing awkward woman doing random stuff, that makes no sense whatsoever.

Aert van der Neer, 'Moonlit landscape with a view of the New Amstel river and Castle Kostverloren' (1647-1649)

https://www.getty.edu/art/collection/object/108FR0 :
A fiery glow charges the sky in Aert van der Neer's view along the New Amstel River. While most Dutch landscape painters in the 1600s used cloud-filled blue skies to endow their work with a powerful presence, Van der Neer mastered the genre of nocturnal landscapes. In this painting, the moon commands attention. Its light is filtered over the scene, emphasizing the river's watery surface and the outlines of trees and reeds. Two small figures at right are also highlighted by the moonlight.

Van der Neer usually depicted imaginary places in his landscape paintings. In this rare example, however, he painted an identifiable landmark, the Castle Kostverloren. The evocative river setting, painted inside a studio, is not accurate. During the 1600s, Dutch artists typically composed idealized scenes with imaginary skies while indoors.

It's #arttrain time! ✨ Share your art ✨ Jack of all trades - master of none. #virtualphotography #digitalart #filmphotography #writing Sticking to one thing is hard and I just love being versatile. I'm super interested in humans and their behavior & emotions - and horses 🫠

What is happening!? This is awkward. It's uhhh Hans and Henry?!? In case you couldn't tell. My first fanart in ages, and these two won over my last braincell in a heartbeat. I'm ready to be canceled by the fragile masculinity squad. #digitalartwork #fanart #kingdomcomedeliverance #digitalart

#virtualphotography #pcgaming #southerngothic #reddeadredemption2 It's 4am I'm sick with a cold (again 😖) and felt like this would be the right time to finally tackle this most valuable treasure of mine and come up with an edit I can accept.

This is what I actually mean when I talk about traditional drawing. It's just thrown together in a couple of minutes, and it is wonky, but it works. Working digitally helped me a lot figuring out proportions and stuff, but it also made me rethink every tiny mistake instead of letting it just be.

I want to get back to drawing asap. There are so many references for Leslie saved, and I might dip a toe into some #kcd fanart. Who knows? Not me, certainly. 🫣

It's so messed up. It was inevitable it was gonna end up like that, but with Musk and Vance interfering was the cherry on top.

'Dagger in the Soil' interpreted as a piece of jewelry or a musical piece within a fitting genre would be mind-blowing. I need to finish that story so people can feel inspired by it 😤

The last couple of days I've been trying traditional drawing again, and honestly it's been ages. While my sketches are even wonkier than the digital ones I can see a distinct style more easily. Also trying to rush myself while drawing so I don't get stuck with details. #traditionalart #drawingclub

I'm currently playing #kcd, and I'm hooked. It's probably the first time since red dead that a video game really got my interest. Won't be able to get to part 2 in a while, because of my old gear, but it's so promising omg I'm a fan #virtualphotography #vprepost #vpsupport #kingdomcomedeliverance

Since I left insta with my VP, my writing disconnected a lot more from the Red Dead context, and I'm here for that. It was never intended to be part of the Red Dead universe and is not even inspired by it, but seeing it without the VP context makes it feel more lively and fleshed out than ever.

The highest compliment from someone who disagrees with you is not “You were right.” It’s “You made me think.” Good arguments help us recognize complexity where we once saw simplicity. The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. It’s to promote critical thinking.

so this awkward thing happened where I put this picture as a pfp, cause I felt it fit my vibe and is all artsy and ethereal. Now bsky labeled my entire account for adult content. 🥲 I sent an appeal, but they do nothing even tho I removed it ofc. I don't know the consequences this has on my account

Authors of #booksky, explain your story badly: US Marshal wants to find the murderers of his wife and child, and everyone tiptoes around it, until he teams up with his best friend and a vagabond woman, and they find out terribly dark things. (Southern Gothic, WIP, Dark Romanticism)

So, I left Instagram after all the shit that's happening around it and other social media platforms lately. While it helps with not being online chronically, I feel I'm losing a part of the connection I had to my novel writing wip.
