And now with plants! I have a few decorative things in mind (and I need to shorten the drainpipe and put a gravel filter for it to run into) but I love it. It cost about £200 all in, including the all the guttering bits for the shed roof.

Ellie thought we should try having weekly organiser whiteboards. I couldn't find any I liked so I painted my own. The days are also painted on - all other writing is wipe-off.

We're going on a little Dorset holiday tomorrow but had to pick up the hire car today as tomorrow they're closed. So we went to Wendover Woods to see their giant marble run. It was lots of fun along a 2 mile walk!

Done a mini bike holiday in the Cotswolds! Just out to Bourton-on-the-Water yesterday, and back today. Camped with my mum and my niece (a little younger than Tiny Dragon). Was lots of fun!

I bought a new paddleboard! We love it. Helpfully, end of summer sales had also started so the cost wasn't *too* painful and it has a 5 year warranty. Tiny Dragon and I took it out today! Also it came with a new paddle so now we have one each 😁

With just a bit of time left, we watched the singing fish about 1000 times while Tiny Dragon carefully analysed the lyrics of the song about a frog prince. We also went back to Mouse Town. Here's the other end of it. And some more weird AI.

We spent more time the with fibreglass. And very slight animatronics. (The wings of the big geese moved a bit.) I commented on Prince Charming being in a box, and TD told me that he isn't real and that's just so people can see what he looks like.

This was apparently Mother Goose's garden. It's a LOT of soft toys and plastic greenery.

Some more bits and bobs. Everywhere seems to have these plastic milking cows right now. The Giant Vegetable Patch, where you could dig with tiny potatoes. Rabbit burrow play house. (TD loved this. We spent so long in here.) TD says my friends will be very interested in her unusual party ring.

Soooo, after riding the Snorses, there is still more of Wonderland! This playground, and "crazy cues". These must have been bought in, they were very dilapidated, and also incredibly hard. Odd choice for a place which is really aimed at under 5s.

The ride ended with the scene of Alice in the dock while the song about the knave of hearts stealing the tarts played. And then the final final thing was the Hatter weeping in a jail cell. WHO DESIGNED THIS??? Like, Tiny Dragon was a bit stressed by this lack of resolution! (We rode this 3 times)

They were all bits from the book, but the ride gave no narrative structure or through-line. They were just unconnected scenes. I had to keep trying to briefly explain them to TD (who has seen a play of Alice) because the context was just not provided.

Ok. I did my best but I wasn't fully prepared for Wonderland. It was an absolutely baffling jumble of fairly good models, fairly hideous models, and AI art. With bits of book dialogue playing over the top.
