HAI!!! My name is Kat, I usually draw moody art of my characters/feelings, and I’m trying to return to regularly posting my work after taking a health-related hiatus from the internet >:°3 it’s nice to meet you! #kathedralart #meettheartist #illustration #disabledartist #meow

A drawing showing the artist, odd.kathedral, doing a silly pose while seated in a wheelchair. There is text surrounding the art that describes the interests and basic information of the artist. The text is as follows: kat, she/they, 26, married. American-Canadian (left Florida for Ontario!). My interests: zelda series, frieren, crafting, watching vid essays/mini docs, birding/naturalist stuff, gothic architecture, horses, RDR2. Some Music I like! (There are six album cover images which are from the following artists; Sarah Kinsley, Car Seat Headrest, Weyes Blood, Laufey, La Dispute, and Adrianne Lenker)

There is a blurb of text beneath the drawing of the artist that says: I started using a wheelchair in 2023 because of my chronic illnesses worsening due to cipro toxicity and covid. I have POTS/EDS/MCAS and I love raising awareness to these “invisible disabilities”! 70+ million people have some form of dysautonomia.

There are three small drawings of the artists characters, Renee, Tawny and Katerpillar. There are also three small doodles of the artist’s cats.

Gentle psa from me that if I blocked you/someone it’s not because I have beef, 9 times out of 10 its bc you draw/post a lot of saturated colors and I cannot look at them ;m; so it’s safer for me to just avoid interactions entirely Pic of Basil for attention and also as consolation prize

Some loose pen doodles of my creature Zoi <3 I’ve been working on my webcomic that she’s in a lot recently, “It Shall Be Called EVE”! ( #ISBCE ) <— ((will be the tag for it from here on out <3))

Rough pen sketches of an anthropomorphic cat woman in various poses, she is covered in scars. The name “Zoi Åkerlund” is written on the page (this is referring to the cat furry)

Rough pen sketches of an anthropomorphic cat woman in various poses, she is covered in scars. There is another unknown woman looking to the side anxiously. Another pose is the cat furry looming over a deer-like man on the ground.

Anthropomorphic cat lady is back but shes looking into the camera with CRAZY eyes. She is also bald for some reason unknown to the viewer.

Wasn’t able to fit much in the box, but I still daily think about the mirror quote. “Despite everything, it’s still you.” And it, too, fills me with determination 🤍

Create this #Picrew of yourself: picrew.me/en/image_mak... Then take this quiz: uquiz.com/quiz/eTdXoU/... And post the results to see what you'd be like as a fictional character, here's mine.

“Divine Punishment” (2025) I started this piece a while ago, but after recent events I felt drawn to complete it. #kathedralart #illustration #gothic #medieval #ventart

Medieval manuscript-style art of a woman with wolf features (wolf head, tail, sharp nails) leaned over a bench. She is looking towards the sky in anger and disgust, while her back is covered in lacerations from golden whips that are hanging from the sky. The image has the text, “How much more do I need to give, before you are satisfied?”

“Patron Saint of Dysautonomia (2025)” This self portrait is representative of my chronic illness (dysautonomia - POTS). The halo references dizzy-like stars 💫 and the exposed flaming heart is the vulnerability I feel during doctor appointments. #dysautonomia #gothic #kathedralart

Gothic-styled catholic saint portrait of a young woman looking off into the distance. Her gaze is yearning, and sorrowful. Her eyes and cheeks damp with drying tears. Her chest is opened with demonic-like claw hands by cathedral stained glass doors, revealing a candle on top of a glass heart surrounded by golden flowers and thorns.
Her hair is wild and wavy behind her.
