The furthest distance possible from the action I took. Also note, that while it warned me about not having alt text, I used to be able to click on the image and add the alt text. That functionality has been removed, and I must attempt to publish which gives me a warning dialog (YOU DID A BAD!) which THEN lets me enter alt text. A painting by Kehinde Wiley “Young Artists After Siamesas 1960” depicting 4 people, two standing, two lounging on the ground plane. Each person is wearing colourful comfortable clothing. A repeating floral ‘wallpaper-like’ background that reminds me of those ‘Magic Eye’ stereograms.

Graphically there is absolutely nothing normally controversial about this painting. No nudity, no violence — just folks standing and sitting. They do appear to be variously melanated, and as we all know, that scares a bunch of bigots.

This painting terrifies fascists. Seriously. Punch those motherfuckers in the neck.

Sorry, Acme Weather, but dewpoint of 62°F is NOT nice. It is very clearly DANK on the dankness scale. Granted, I will allow a brief ‘nice’ at 69°, but that is dangerously close to OPPRESSIVE.

Today’s #Bloomscrolling involves the big peach mandevilla that finally opened up.
