An alarming new report released by the United Nations this week revealed that the global temperature rise will exceed 1.5°C, likely within the next few years. But every 10th of a degree of warming we can prevent through immediate action makes a difference for our health, ocean and planet.
Graphic with quote "A future full of fish to catch, clean air to breathe and thriving coastal communities is still possible for our children, but we must make real investments now. Our ocean is a major part of the solution. Investing in clean energy, such as offshore wind, reducing emissions from shipping, and exploring carbon removal are critical to making that vision a reality.”

What Congress can do about the plastics industry and that chasing arrows symbol
The Truth in Labeling Act would create clear federal rules about when a product can be labeled “recyclable,” “compostable,” or “reusable.”
