I wish people would stop fucking acting like they're deathly allergic to the standard party configuration especially when ALL THE FUCKING CONTENT IN THE GAME IS BUILT AROUND IT 1 Tank, 1 Healer. 2 DPS, double that for 8 player stuff, and everyone goes home happy.

Yes and no. Rex fought Zenos with everything he had, with his entire being, out of excitement and joy for Zenos doing the same and being able to face the one opponent who could bear the love of combat that Zenos awakened in him. He did not intend to kill his friend *without also dying*.

Lkhagvasuren still goes back to Thanalan regularly due to her responsibilities with the Lemures, her old connections with the Adventurers Guild, and the fact that A'zimzizi ended up buying a house in the Goblet, but there's very much a sense of connection that is severed afterward, that never heals🔽

Q’linn isn’t Ul’dahn but it did affect his perception of Gridania. He’s distraught that Kan-e-Senna, who he considered a friend, didn’t speak in his defense, and saw how viciously Eorzea will try to maintain his status quo. It didn’t give him much hope as an Ala Mhigan immigrant in the Twelveswood.

Y'dyalani didn't start in ul'dah but it permanently ruined her perception of the city state, she only goes there if necessary and heavily dislikes anyone with the label of syndicate or monetarist, minus raubahn. It also did hurt her relation with the other two city state leaders⬇️ #Ydyalanilore

TL;DR - Rex no longer considers Ul'dah home, never rejoins the Immortal Flames, and never goes back unless he has to. Raubahn, Nanamo, Mylla, Aldis, Jenlyns, and anyone else Rex has met as a friend and fought beside are still cool, though. #wolqotd

while he grew up in Thanalan, #Chi'yo never considered Ul'dah home to begin with. it was his workplace where he'd do his mercenary jobs or steal from wealthy merchants. it was an "enemy territory" basically. the banquet only reassured him that the city is corrupted too deep from within.

Like come ON man, even before you actually get to Heavensward, the game is very unsubtley hinting and nudging for you to play HW as a Dragoon. Making the Job Quest character of the job shown in the trailer an integral part of the MSQ was such a good idea. Shame they never did it again.
