I wish people would stop fucking acting like they're deathly allergic to the standard party configuration especially when ALL THE FUCKING CONTENT IN THE GAME IS BUILT AROUND IT 1 Tank, 1 Healer. 2 DPS, double that for 8 player stuff, and everyone goes home happy.

After how long it took me to finally get this thing, and only because the glow on it looks like the same one from the Shadowbringers trailer, I don't even wanna THINK about Bozja after this week

Rex truly does consider Zenos his friend, albeit in a different way than the Scions. Zenos awakened his love of fighting, which in turn pushed him to greater heights as a swordsman.

Rex Amicitia 🎮 Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward @obsidianrex23.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Yes and no. Rex fought Zenos with everything he had, with his entire being, out of excitement and joy for Zenos doing the same and being able to face the one opponent who could bear the love of combat that Zenos awakened in him. He did not intend to kill his friend *without also dying*.

Yoshio was really rattled by the aftermath of the bloody banquet, so much so that it directly led to the feelings that caused the "Fray" portion of the Dark Knight quests to play out like they did he has since gotten his trust back

Lkhagvasuren still goes back to Thanalan regularly due to her responsibilities with the Lemures, her old connections with the Adventurers Guild, and the fact that A'zimzizi ended up buying a house in the Goblet, but there's very much a sense of connection that is severed afterward, that never heals🔽

Q’linn isn’t Ul’dahn but it did affect his perception of Gridania. He’s distraught that Kan-e-Senna, who he considered a friend, didn’t speak in his defense, and saw how viciously Eorzea will try to maintain his status quo. It didn’t give him much hope as an Ala Mhigan immigrant in the Twelveswood.

Y'dyalani didn't start in ul'dah but it permanently ruined her perception of the city state, she only goes there if necessary and heavily dislikes anyone with the label of syndicate or monetarist, minus raubahn. It also did hurt her relation with the other two city state leaders⬇️ #Ydyalanilore

while he grew up in Thanalan, #Chi'yo never considered Ul'dah home to begin with. it was his workplace where he'd do his mercenary jobs or steal from wealthy merchants. it was an "enemy territory" basically. the banquet only reassured him that the city is corrupted too deep from within.

"Alphinaud founded a private paramilitary organization" Alphinaud founded a free company with the goal of helping Eorzea where the leaders of its city-states could not, would not, and did not, without being bound by the same red tape they were to uphold the legacy of his grandfather.

I'm fresh off of The Parting Glass so this one's for the WoL's who started in Ul'dah (or anyone else, I don't pay your sub): How did The Bloody Banquet affect your perception of Ul'dah? Is your WoL still capable of calling it home, or do you only travel there when absolutely necessary? #wolqotd

The audacity to throw a party to celebrate Ishgardians' and the Scions' victory over the attack on the Steps of Faith after refusing to send forces to Coerthas Failed as the founding of the Crystal Braves was, somebody had to step up and do something because the leaders of the Alliance sure didn't

Amicitia and Gerolt unceremoniously parted ways when the former just couldn't power through any more Fates to get Atma. The two mended fences for the SHB weapon grind. Their... acquaintanceship was tested yet again when Rex was tasked with collecting Atma for the DT weapons.

God, I feel so bad for Raubahn here. Dude thinks he's catching up with an old friend he hasnt heard from in years and has no idea this snake hates him and is waiting to strike. The Scions were wronged beyond measure, but I can't help but think Raubahn got it worse than us.
