Also some concepts for a reimagined Dawn of the Dragon. I'm not satisfied with Canon Malefor's design-- And I still think I can push my concept even further! He's breaking down from the raw energy within him. But I love my teen Cynder and Spyro. Also Cynder before she was corrupted!

Malefor redesign, where he's more purple with dark purple extremities and monochromatic accents. His chest and eye bears scars that glow intensely with aether energy.

Cynder and Spyro, with different forms. It's their canon designs, while also a Wind Elemental Cynder and Dark Spyro. Cynder turning from silver scales to dark indigo is more like trying to convert her into an artificial Purple Dragon via Dark Aether rather than good -> evil.

This wing model was made by DragonOfIceAndFire on deviantart. It is only to be used for drawing dragons from Destiny Intertwined (his headworld and community) Im sure he’d be okay with it being used for art fight, as many of us DI peeps draw our DI OCs for each other. I can ask him too.

Maliciousness - knowingly crossing another creator’s boundaries, thus disrespecting them. Bad actors often know they are doing a bad thing, but do it anyway. Permission - assets like these often come with their own ToS, and its creators give permission for their use. (3)

Several things separate a tracer or art thief from people using assets. Bad intent - to get an unfair advantage with the intention to get “clout”, to boost ego, instead of engaging in the good spirit of the competition for the sake of having fun and engaging with other artists as intended. (2)

I love you Art Fight, please change the rule. I understand the need to safeguard against AI users, or plagiarists. However, using helpful assets made by artists with their permission for the purpose of helping other artists. To streamline the process isn’t the same as stealing or cheating. (1)

5. Bases, character creators, and dollmakers may be used for character images, but must be credited. They may not be used for attacks.

a. This includes websites like Picrew, HeroForge, video game character creators, and other doll makers.
b. This includes artwork traced from poseable 3D models (such as Clip Studio Paint, Design Doll, and similar programs), self-made bases, and photographs you have taken.

Please take out the rule that disallows use of photo references and 3D models to help create illustrations. This is a perfectly normal step to creating drawings and paintings, just like sketching. I've been a full time professional artist since 2009, and taking my own reference photos is an enormous part of how I create my work. In recent years, being able to use 3D models like those in clip studio pain are also a huge help. Art fight is a big part of the art community. I would put to you that art fight needs to rise above the misguided notion that using these vital resources is an incorrect way of making original art.
