this beautiful rosy maple moth greeted me on my office door yesterday!

yellow and pink moth with beautiful markings, perched on a white door. You can see from the paintbrush marks on the door that this is a macro photo, taken very close.

last weekend I took a workshop w/ artist Annie Silverman who taught how to coat prints w/ beeswax to give the paper wonderful translucency - am soo delighted to have this new skill .. I have been needing this #worldbeesday 🐝

print I created using woodblock type and rubbings, then waxed. text is from my recent Salem poem, (it’s one of my favorite lines “ther was blod in the ink horn”). Set on window for illumination

I saw your post earlier and I had a hunch / vague memory that I’d an early photo of you with Grover. I didn’t remember this photo exactly but when looked .. here it is! So cute.

Thrilled that these readings are as otherworldly awesome as promised. 💜 When the double cd of poetry and music arrived from the UK last week I forgetfully wondered "someone sent me a gift?" 💙 Ah yes, that was me. Thanks also to @cerysmatthews.bsky.social
