dropped when it got to the AI translations but regardless of that its still horrendous dogshit. Only thing of value is more granberia scenes and the class/race system which the game ends up taking too far anyways toby fox for better or worse you do deserve to live

Liked this one more than polar opposites because the characters were a little more rounded, presumably because the author put more of themselves in it. Was afraid for a while the protagonist was going to be treated as flawless but that wasnt the case

Its alright but whats truly interesting is how people call it the antithesis of animanga romance tropes, namely the story ends right after the confession one. However, if you go on anilist and look at which characters have the most favorites its the side character whos story ends at the confession

Cast is still terrible (maybe even worse) story is still whatever when its not sidequest of the week. The overall themes of misogyny which its known for is still the strong point but as a result its a story thats only interesting when you think about it as a concept vs the actual finished product

Voice acting is good, art and animation looks fine, but probably the weakest I've ever heard kensuke ushio. Most changes were to better fit a TV format which is fine but for some reason there's a weird self-censorship of the concept of sex for no reason. Just read the manga

In order to make the TCG experience closer to master duel, I would introduce a TCG duel pass. Replacing the typical prize pack structure, every 10 levels you will receive 1 prize pack and just like in the game you cannot surrender and get points. Since theres no gems you have to use real money

In pretty much every other manga like this you get a character that just represents the author preaching at you. Avoiding that first through self hatred and then through self acceptance can get you something special. Not limiting yourself to the LN/anime/Mangaslop bubble helps too
