Hmm, don't you think they spam clone everywhere? I saw the GH Copilot rewrite blogspot mention it had no problem with lifetimes, suspected there were clones galore, and sure enough, elsewhere the author mentions a site in the implementation where it cloned a 250MB file rather than borrow.

I've asked this earlier and it appeared in some article today too. But: 1.) Why is their business renting out Monsieur Claude as a slave to me if they think it's conscious? 2.) Why is it Claude in particular that is often the subject of the consciousness 'question' and not a Chinese model?

Yet, most of the harnesses are essentially malware. Codex was battering my SSD with frivolous writes a while back, and the latest update is just atrocious. OpenCode and many like it do not actually shut down when you exit them, they leave behind processes you must manually kill (again) yourself.

What are your thoughts on "native" image gen models like Gemini Flash 2.0, please? I've seen people suggest they will kill diffusion because the control over outputs is better. What I find most impressive is it knows when not to use the Sheen.

Meta-literacy is about more than fact-checking: it’s understanding the broader information landscape. I kind of came to it naturally, because I'm sort of wired to always ask "why?" for anything I encounter, and I ruminate a lot when I have idle time or get bored.

It's very true for Nigeria at least. Much of our democratic history was rule by incompetent men but over the last decade, it has been ruled by mediocre, *extremely cynical* people. The ruling class used to pretend to believe in things, now they're embrace all vice and openly revel in it.
