Apparently Paypal is now asking those who commissioned artists through invoices for feedback on the experience, Please never type anything, Its a trap. Just putting both yours and their accounts at risk of bans.

(qrp w alt txt! the rest of it is in the replies bc i hit the alt txt limit And post limit lmaoooo) ※ NOTE: THE STRIPE HEADQUARTERS NUMBER NO LONGER WORKS. THE NEW NUMBER IS 877-887-7815

Anti Censorship Cheat Sheet

Why?
Visa, Mastercard, Stripe and Paypal have been censoring free speech and legal business on the internet for too long. Their most recent targets are Steam and Itch.io, but they have also been pressuring websites like Pixiv, Patreon, Fansly, Onlyfans and more for years, applying draconian standards for what kind of adult/pornographic content platforms and their users can host and sell. If we as consumers and creators want to regain ground on this issue, we have to make our voice heard.

How?

Bombard them with phone calls. Collective Shout, the organization that lobbied to have Steam and Itch.io change their TOS, did so with only around 1000 phone calls. Visa and MC have backed down from pressuring Onlyfans to remove adult content entirely due to public backlash. Clogging their phone lines for an extended period, over a month at the absolute least, will almost guarantee that these companies will at least have to pay attention to the backlash. This list is not exhaustive, but some contact points for the 4 targets are:

Visa

US/Canada: +1-800-847-2911
US option selection for operator: 1-1-2 or 1-1-3

Mastercard

US: +1-800-307-7309
US option selection for operator: 1-1-2-2-2-1
Phone (outside US): 1-636-722-7111

Stripe

Headquarters: +1-888-963-8955
France: +33-805-11-19-67
Email: complaints@stripe.com

Paypal

US: +1-888-221-1161
Outside US: 1-402-935-2050
Customer Service: +1-877-569-1116

Try to hit all 4 targets per day. This is only going to have an effect if as many people as possible call every day as long as possible. This is a marathon, not a race. If you can, it is also a good idea to try to spread the word to organizations and groups that can either actively combat these huge companies legally, or can spread news, in a manner supportive of this movement, more effectively than your average person.

This, especially with KOSA coming back. I know we're all exhausted from dealing with the payment processors but we can't let them win, if KOSA gets passed and MasterCard/Visa has their way the free Internet as we know it is gone. Reposting to fix a typo I noticed.

Worldbuilding talk! Some people have noticed that SF2 is pretty hopeful and happy. Why? The brain is naturally inclined toward pessimistic risk assessment. That includes fandoms. It's why we see so much grimdark pokemon! So make a setting worth fighting for. GMs are welcome to make it grimdark!

‼️ HELP HOMELESS LESBIANS EAT ‼️ new week new donation post. thanks everyone for sharing & giving on the last one, we're in slightly better straits this week. paypal (pref): primroseottenberg@gmail.com cashapp (pref): $PrimroseOttenberg venmo: snappingbats

‼️ HELP US PAY OUR BILLS ‼️

hey all, sorry as always to keep asking for help. i work 100% commission, which means my checks vary a lot. i'm the sole support for myself, my wife, and our senior cat while we are homeless.

good news: this week's check is not as bad as i was expecting! bad news: this week's check still will not cover all of our weekly needs, mainly groceries. next week's check should be better (no deductions!) but we will likely still need help recovering from this especially as our storage bill will then be due. we're looking for 145 to cover immediate needs, but anything after that will go to help prepare us for the new month.
