An array of doodles of the Deltarune party (done as practice for a webcomic I'm planning). Focusing predominantly on Susie and Ralsei, seeing the range of expressions I can draw them achieving.

As well as various little doodles of Kris, the gang as a whole standing there like that Weezer blue album cover. Susie but she's Big Challenges (the sanrio character), Ralsei yelling, Blaze the Cat but styled after IMG_FRIEND and Dr. Ivo Robotnik as the "Eggman behind the tree"

Reference drawings for the three main Deltarune characters, Susie wielding her axe, Ralsei with his magic, and Kris Dreemurr with their blade in-hand.

Important is that I've allowed space for them to be extremely expressive, (expression sheets pending) as subtextual emotions are very critical to deltarune itself.

Inside the café at Castle Town, the Tasque Manager's voice echoes out through the microphone, joined by Ralsei's, the two in harmony, singing to their hearts' content.

Below the stage, Kris watches from one of the tables, idly clasping their gauntlets together, leaning in front of them is Susie, shooting a smirk their way as she kicks back, teacup in hand.

"Can't believe we talked that idiot into this." Susie laughs, her jagged teeth gleefully snapping together.

On the other side of their table is the trio's recurring friend, Lancer, eagerly backing up Susie with a point towards the stage, his face one of disbelief.

"Ah, my music's better."

A piece a little out of my usual wheelhouse, very glad I did it though, played through Deltarune (or rather, all there is if it atm) and had a whale of a time. Wanted to see how the cast would look with my more Sonic-oriented style/influences, and was genuinely surprised at how well they translated; especially Susie and Ralsei.

I suppose furries/scalies aren't too far from Sonic, and I have a long history of drawing furries as is. Anyway, pretty happy with this one, was a shame to finish it.

I know nobody reads these, but I'll probably gauge based off of how much people care to see if I do any more. I've been feeling myself distancing from Sonic work, so this would be lovely distraction

Nevertheless, deltarune is genuinely incredible, caught me off guard.
