Hot take: I don't think pictures of humans, nor their creations, belong on physical currency or other government documents. You risk a huge embarrassment if the person involved ends up exposed as a bad apple.

That is entirely possible. There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of leaked credentials for just about any service you can imagine. These AI chatbots are trained on human behavior, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them perform credential stuffing.

Honestly, completely justified. You're putting your feet on the seat after walking through a subway that's littered with piss, shit, drugs, rat feces and rainwater? The fine isn't high enough. People want to sit there and you're mucking it up with your dirty feet.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to use your government social media account with millions of followers to announce that your latest vanity project will also be an important military complex with high-tech weapons and highly trained soldiers. But what do I know, I'm not a smart and genius president.

Sounds like a good move to use your government social media account with millions of followers to announce your latest vanity project is also the location of a major military complex holding advanced weapons and highly trained soldiers. But what do I know, I'm not a smart and genius president.

I'm not in the USA, but from what I understand, this was actually more or less US policy for centuries, to the point that LADY LIBERTY HERSELF has a bronze cast plaque explaining how welcoming the US wanted to be to refugees and other persecuted groups.

White House Press Pool reporter: "No catering track was spotted by your pooler next to Air Force One."
WH out-of-town pool report #2
8/11/2026 1:03:22 PM PDT
From: Joseph Garrison
Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 3:51 PM
To: DL WHO Wranglers
Subject: WH out-of-town pool report #2

President Trump walked off Marine One on the JBA tarmac at 3:46 pm. He boarded Air Force One a minute later.

Trump did not come over to talk to reporters. He waved and gave a fist pump after reaching the stop of the stairs.

Your pooler spotted Susie Wiles, Karoline Leavitt, Margot Martin and Natalie Harp entering Air Force One after POTUS.

No catering track was spotted by your pooler next to Air Force One.

Now it’s off to Cleveland, Ohio.

Thanks,
Joey Garrison

apnews.com/article/migr... Based on reporting from AP and WaPo, it seems that while there are migrant caravans, most of them actually aren't intending to go all the way to the USA. Many migrants scared off by Trump's inhumane policies are instead intending to find a new life in Mexico itself.

Migrant caravan leaves southern Mexican city but many are no longer aiming for the US border
Hundreds of migrants, most of them from Haiti, left the southern Mexican city of Tapachula on foot in an effort to seek better living conditions elsewhere in Mexico.

I can understand the Pawn Stars and Storage Wars style shows, because there's at least some history involved in those when they pull in the experts to verify an object's origin. But I agree that the ancient aliens stuff is just ridiculous.

And in environments where I do expect them to be used (for example, because the author most likely used a professional text editor tool that swaps them in when needed), I look at things like word choice, cadence, etc. For example: did you know that many LLMs almost only refer to anuses as "holes"?
000
nzall.bsky.social @nzall.bsky.social · 27/07/2026
To be clear: I only do that on online forums and social media, places where I don't expect it. Like, I wouldn't expect someone who's telling a quick story about how they won a gaming PC in an AMD giveaway to use them in a casual environment. Professional writing is entirely different.

It's a good indication of AI use in circumstances where it usually doesn't appear though, like online forums. Most people on online forums just DO NOT USE IT, not even before AI, because typing one in an editor that doesn't autocorrect normal dashes requires an obscure alt combination.

lots and lots of military drones and army supply goods. Wildberries serves as one of the main ways that contract soldiers get equipped, because the Russian Army expects their contract soldiers to provide most of their equipment themselves.

More than that, the Russian army expects their contract soldiers to provide their own equipment, which is also mostly supplied by Wildberries. Their fulfillment centers are entirely valid military targets. This isn't too different from attacking an ammo stockpile.

As I've said before: I personally think that while the charts are showing accurate metrics, and metrics that have been relevant for a long time, I'm not sure the metrics they are showing are relevant for the modern economy, which is evolving to be quite different from previous economies.
