Watching through Road to Avonlea Seasons 1-4 was way more uncomfortable than I was expecting. I'm glad I did it because it was a good mirror to hold up to measure how far I am now from the person I was when I first watched the show. #anneofgreengables #colleendewhurstisatreasure #nostalgiavsreality

I think I left this platform mostly because I had to say farewell to my rescue dog, Rosie. She was my heart dog, and my companion through deconstruction and beginning to heal from growing up the way I did. I will always miss her, but I do still have some floofs to bring me joy. #bestfriendshavepaws

In the foreground there is the white corner of an empty journal page, two skeins and a cake of yarn awaiting creative whimsy. Behind them a white and red splotched puppy (Sam) lies peacefully looking out the window. Behind him, a disgruntled tabby cat looks down at his encroaching body with narrowed eyes and a curled lip that says, "I was napping there, dog."

There isn't much as heart warming as being safe enough for a cat to sleep beside. Sybil wasn't supposed to feel comfortable in our house. We were told she wouldn't get along with dogs, or enjoy a multi animal household, but this tabby proved them all wrong. #recuecats #catsofbluesky #catnap

Charlie Kirk is dead. This is a fact. I don't know how to feel about it. Also a fact. I want to be better than what I left behind. I want to believe every human is worthy of empathy. But when you preach against rights for marginalized peoples and defend violence against them. You forfeit. Fact.

Creative expression for its own sake. I started a journaling RPG I've been designing. Chiya is an Acolyte sent on an Initiation Task to find a sacred cave lost to time and retrieve any writings they find.

An open book showing small hand written text in black ink. The focus is on the pen slanted towards the camera.

Sometimes it's good to just get all the painting stuff out and paint a little fox. Only, don't tell him he's little, he is very proud of himself, and thinks he is quite the distinguished vulpine.

On a soft teal background sits a painted fox, upright and slightly snooty. His lines are sleek, white chin and tail bright against the brown-red of his fur. His eye visible to the viewer is closed.

6&7/100 Days of Spinning Oh the hyperfocus kicked in! Spun the last single last night and this morning and could not wait to play them all together. This is my first true 4 ply and I think I'm obsessed. I'm about to skein it all up, but I couldn't help but share the bobbin. #handspinnners #spinner

A full bobbin of yarn! All shades of pink, peach, purple and lavender.

4/100 Days of Spinning Just a little today. I'm tired and didn't sleep much last night. So the beginning of single 3 out of 4. I'm starting to see more control over colours by spinning from the fold, until I get to the end of that fluff, which is just blended leftovers. Just observing. #handspinner

2/100 days of Spinning Starting a comparison between 2-ply worsted spun and 4-ply woolen spun. I have to say, spinning these ultra fine singles is pretty rewarding. Fibre is Merino/silk from FibreCraft. #handspinnersofbluesky #handspinner #spinning #yarnspinner #skillbuilding

Nests of silk and Merino combed top. The left one contains shades of red, blue, white, purple and orange. The right contains pink, blues, corals, lavender and white.

A skein of 2-ply worsted spun yarn. Candy striped pink and purple hues. The skein lies on a wooden shelf in front of book spines.

View of an in progress bobbin on a spinning wheel with a very fine single. The single shows more colour gradation between tones of pink, coral, blue and lavender.

Also, when having "what even is reality?" Thoughts, I did research, and found that Plainsong used rhythmic modes as well as melodic ones, and that their names are related to poetic meters. So I had to immediately combine some and compose, naturally. Iamb, iamb, trobach, iamb. #musicnerd #songwriter

The picture shows MX. Huitsing to the left of a table, sitting with their legs crossed, arms folded and giving the student at the piano a skeptical look. To MX.
