Wow, this is shocking because that was a nice mall and area. Had to look around for more info, apparently Plano ISD is contributing $250 mil toward this so that they can then use the arena for graduations. Insanity.

Yahoo forcing me to use their updated email layout is making me not want to read my emails there at all. The layout is difficult to read and I've tried the black and the white backgrounds and nothing seems to make it any better. No way to get back to Classic that I can see.

Getting an email from the Florida Trail Assn director this afternoon saying the USDA still hasn't approved their funding for operations for 2026...as we're about to close it out. And If nothing is approved by spring 2027, they are looking at $110K deficit. Not great for our nat'l scenic trails.

Also, what many men think is a "good dad" and what women think is a "good dad" are vastly different and being a "good dad" doesn't always translate to being a good member of a household, either. It's not any one single thing, which I think many men want to deduce it down to.

My husband drinks it for field work days. I was looking for an alternative to Gatorade this summer to balance out my Vyvanse dehydration issues + heat and tried to drink the coconut water and I am 100% with you, it is nasty! I'm back to Gatorade.

Trying to make a newsletter signup graphic on Canva and yeah, turns out a lot of their clipart is AI generated (right click on info on the clipart) so here I am now trying to find non-AI clipart and I'm wondering if that is even possible to find now.

I usually get massages that are firm to deep tissue but recently (and last night) I've been getting massages with people who don't do those and there is definitely something to be said about dozing on the table instead of grimacing in pain.

Husband and I both did the grocery shopping together this week since kiddo is with grandparents. Usually we alternate. Anyway, we both thought we had "done good" with what we bought and laughed and looked at each other in astonishment when the damn cart still rang up around $150. *sigh*

This was the first year in a couple that I actually felt slightly sick the following day. Didn't last long, took some Advil and moved on but I'll take it over the actual flu or covid (again)! Glad you had no issues!

Yes! Cades Cove was/is beautiful but the cars ruin it. GSMNP really needs to start doing shuttles/bus services for many of the trails. The bus situation at Denali makes it work really great with less impact.

I was in Waco over the weekend...quite a few Talarico/Hinojosa signs, shockingly. Also, big sign by the county Dem party in Hearne (and in Waco). Big county signs going up all over MoCo. I think we have a solid chance but too scared to commit.

For me, it was if you fell into the Jen Hatmaker/Shauna Niequist/Sarah Bessey/RHE world you all kind of followed the similar writers/podcasters that came out in that era and it was far more niche than people want to assume.

If I had taken a different route in my marine bio program in college, we had a professor who taught biospeleology and various research diving courses. I think the lab portion of biospel might have included some caving trips and I know there was a cave diving club. Out of my realm for sure!

My first time running into what appeared to be a book flipper at the library today. I went in to check the book sale area for magazines and any other random books and this guy had a whole scanner set up to his app and he was checking every book!
