Saw Schmigadoon this week, which was fun... but I dunno, the TV series was better? I guess it won all the Tonys cause it's a show for theatre nerds, and theatre nerds are doing the voting, but it felt a bit flat! ALSO, I'm old and the extreme foreshortening of the town set made my brain hurt haha

A promising tomato plant yesterday vs this morning. 😭 My Hungarian granny used to shout "mókus!" when squirrels would rattle around in her eaves, and it appears I have now inherited this generational trauma (also why "squirrel" is one of the six Hungarian words I know)

Every other year I've tried to grow out here the results were so underwhelming that I did NOT expect needing to worry about plant growth; this was my "bounty" by deep summer 2023 lol. But the weather this year has been a lot milder than usual (and I'm fertilizing properly) so shit is popping OFF
