Beyond belated, my piece for @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social, a little bit of Vikjayce for the soul. It was lovely being on this project and bouncing around with my fellow creators!

League versions of Jayce and Machince Herald Viktor stand in a dilapidated warehouse, with green and orange light filtering in around them. Viktor has his mask off, revealing his pale and sharp face, where Jayce no longer has his coat and only dons a white button-up and his vest. He holds some notes in his left hand, and Viktor is tilting his chin up as their gazes meet.

Got to talking about a commune au idea with @luminousmochi.bsky.social where the chainsaw cut a little deeper, and Jayce didn’t make it out quite so unscathed,,, #jayvik #jayce #arcane

Jayce is standing in a field of yellow flowers in the commune. He’s looking over his shoulder with his back to the viewer, hugging himself, with a white toga draped around his hips. His back wound is larger and metallic, and he has Viktor’s fingerprints on his forehead after being the first person healed by Viktor due to his injury.

(CW blood!) —————————— Spent wayyyyy too long on this piece based on a random vampire Machine Herald x Talis au I got yapping about with some friends ❤️ #jayvik #jayce #viktor

A vaguely modern, nondescript vampire au. Machine herald Viktor, in a dark outfit with a black leather trench coat and black boots, holds up Jayce Talis, wearing jeans, a white and red T-shirt, and a yellow flannel. Jayce’s head is leaning back, and there’s a fresh bit wound bleeding on his neck. Viktor’s mouth is covered in blood, dripping down his chin. They’re in a shadowy, brick alley in Zaun, in front of the Last Drop's neon green sign.

the thing about "separating the art from the artist" is that it comes from academic circles where they were trying to separate an artist's views from an interpretation of their work as an intellectual exercise, not as a way to give people moral carte blanche to support shitty people

Artist @nyctictea.bsky.social skillfully depicts the Machine Herald and Jayce Giopara... What is the Machine Herald so smug about? Find out in September!

Machine Herald Viktor and Jayce Giopara stand in a dilapidated warehouse, Viktor leaning against some concrete, Jayce with some miscellaneous notes. Viktor tilts his chin up, looking smug, while Jayce appears entranced.

The three whole Art Fight Attacks I managed this year

On the left is Frey, a young man with blond hair and tan, freckled skin- kind of like a y2k surfer with a pink and blue cropped hoodie and blue fingerless gloves. He is taking a selfie and hugging Grimoire, a pale vampire with long, dark nay hair and a gothic sense of fashion. Frey looks extremely chipper, and Grim hugs him contently with a much softer smile

Juniper is a DND shifter and druid with deer-like features, sitting on a rock slab is a minimally drawn field. In one hand rests her staff, as she looks up towards the shade she is under. Her armor is constructed of leather and leaves of reds and greens, and in her hair are two pink flowers. She smiles softly.

Preston a man with shoulder-length blue to pink hair, tan skin, meager facial hair and various facial piercings is posed with his hands forwards. He is in angelic form, with additional eyes under and above his normal ones, as well as on his chest. On his hands are stigmata, and all angelic features glow golden-including his tears and blood. From his head sprout two angelic wings, and behind it a halo

It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.

It's esp why I try to reply to let them know! (and why I wish I could keep track of any I've missed replying to )
