I paid for a year with Fastmail, but I eventually gave up and went back to Google Workspace. 😑

Viktor Nyblom @nyblom.io · 29/01/2026

The most annoying for me is an extra Copilot prompt in my freaking keyboard (SwiftKey)! Not only is it trying to make me use an AI assistant I don't want to use, it also covers part of the screen...

You simply can't stop inspiring, can you? 😍

I am giving away coaching sessions to six founders and leaders in December. It's first come, first serve, and no problem is to big or too small. Grab a slot for yourself or send it to someone that you think might need a little bit of extra support. 😇 galantledarskap.se/boka-coaching

✅ Got em all! Gonna take a break from this game now. Until I buy the DLC as a Christmas present to myself. 😁

One of my beliefs is that being clear is being nice. Another is that not speaking up is a form of lying (by omission).

Been so long since I last posted anything anywhere that I have started feeling a blocking fear around posting stuff. So here is a post to help me remember that I am not going to die if nobody likes my post...

Thursday appreciation post: I started reading your work when I first started building for Android back in 2010. I am both impressed and inspired by the way you continue to provide a lot of value to the community. Hats off! 🎩

Oh wow! The nostalgia! 😍 I have a vague recollection of it not working very well for me in the end. Or maybe that was just the many weird custom ROMs I installed on it. 😂

Viktor Nyblom @nyblom.io · 27/10/2025

Yep. Been there, tried that. Can confirm it didn't make anything better for me or anyone else around me.

Homeland Security and the White House have landed on Bluesky. If you're a dumbass with no self control and absolutely must fight the T. Administration online, do it on X. Otherwise, else your posts could endanger this place. Don't engage. Block.

The word that comes to mind is "villhöver". So buy a new monitor. 😂 If you want to feel less guilty about it you could always use it as an opportunity to celebrate a recent win!

Viktor Nyblom @nyblom.io · 17/10/2025

I know what you mean, but I wouldn't put it quite that way. It's OK to feel what you feel and even cry sometimes. The trick is to move dispite feeling fear and despair.

I feel you... Tried finding a pair for my mom a few months ago (wanted something simple). The only ones I found where a cheap pair of Sony headphones with really shitty sound quality. 😐

Still is, though... 😇

Damn, Nate... So sorry to hear that. 💔 Remember that it's OK to allow yourself to feel whatever your body wants to feel right now. To feel sad. To feel angry. To feel overwhelmed. ❤️

We (🇸🇪) care about the summer olympics because of all the times we've gotten our buts handed to us by Norwegians in the winter olympics. 😂💀

I like this cover better. 😇 It was one of the defining songs of my childhood. One of the first singles I bought on CD. If not the first. 😁 (ZTV was sort of a Swedish version of MTV) m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr-u...

Spot on. Och ju längre tid jag spenderar i bolagsbyggarvärlden desto mer vikt lägger jag vid integritet. Det trots att det sedan en tid tillbaka är det absolut viktigaste för mig när jag utvärderar grundare.

Took a while, but when I finally got it running at 2 AM I was so damn happy. I think that was the frist time I fell in love with programming. I was 16 at the time. 😁

Pascal a bit over 20 years ago. The only thing I remember building with it was Conway's Game of Life. Definitely didn't make money from it. 😂

I am on Android (fanboi since 2010), but I absolutely love the design in those screenshots! Especially the middle one. 🙌 And while writing this I realised who I was replying to, so yeah... Shouldn't be that surprised that the design is top notch. 😁

Gonna start forcing people to put in a deposit when they book a meeting with me. No-show without any heads up means you lose your deposit. €450 sounds about right.

New favorite paradox: Bonini's paradox, which states that "As a model of a complex system becomes more complete, it becomes less understandable." Feels intuitively right and makes a case for simpler, less precis models. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonini%...

Auto summaries and lists are usually fine to me. But as soon as it's a person communicating something to another person I lose interest when I recognize the AI writing style. "But what about voice to text?" Yeah, it's also fine as long as it's only transcribed, not edited, by AI.

010

Viktor Nyblom @nyblom.io · 03/09/2025

Self actualization is great. But what about shared actualization? Joining with a group of people with similar values to go on a quest to grow together. I think this will only become more important.

Love it! Let me present Soundbrood. Released in 2012 it was my first Android app. Got about 50k downloads and maybe $30 in ad revenue before I released a paid version in 2013 and got shut down by Google for copyright infringement. 😅

Heck yeah! I'm rereading the watchmen arc. Guards! Guards!, Men at Arms etc. Amazing characters! "Never build a dungeon you wouldn't be happy to spend the night in yourself. The world would be a happier place if more people remembered that." *chef's kiss*
