Summer hounds

An illustration depicting a group of anthropomorphic hounds, Zela, Cirina and Veltro, enjoying their day at the beach under the bright summer sun. Zela is nearly waist deep in the water waving towards Veltro, Cirina is striking a pose as she's jumping into the water, Veltro is struggling to get in the water himself.
In the back, local flora with its saturated green hues is sprawling right over the rocky coast.
Further still the silhouette of a seaplane can be seen, moored in a space between the coast and a promontory.

Please be careful if you're looking to commission redactedinlight! I paid in full for a rendered piece in June, and after two months of no updates beyond asking me to wait due to family, I requested a refund. They rudely told me off and hastily drew something that was not what I requested.

No sketch, no asking for approval. Just a pic and then shooing me away.

After I requested the refund, he initially said he'll issue it before changing his mind and sending me this in 30 minutes, which I can only assume is something he hastily put together in that time before telling me to stop talking to him.

I was not given a proper deadline, and I would be fine since paypal buyer protection is up to six months. But the lack of updates and final response was not professional at all. After digging thru history, it seems like he has ghosted other clients in the past as well

I understand if there are personal affairs making life difficult, but if you cannot deliver the product, please don't accept the commission😔 I would never do this to my own art or irl work clients, nor is it acceptable to retaliate like that after being confronted by your client.
