Not sure I would ever agree with staying in an abusive relationship. We can't change our neighbour but we can change who we are. I am old enough to remember life before NAFTA. And much of the sentiment at that time was NAFTA was good for a select few, but not good for Canada.

If the US national debt has broken the $40TRillion ceiling and the US has been collecting tariff dollars has anyone asked where that money is even going? The US citizen has to wake up very soon to ask some of these very simple questions, and demand answers. In any case my elbows are up, way up.

I started my career under the uncertainty of what the new NAFTA would mean for Canada. As my career comes to an end it is under the uncertainty of a Canada without a version of NAFTA. Canada will survive and be the better for it.

Well stated Breanne. I only wish fellow Canadians who insist on continuing to visit the USA for selfish reasons realized the double hit. First Cdn dollars leaving our economy, and 2nd contributing to an economy that wants to severely damage our existence. I keep challenging them. We all have to.

Help please. I constantly run into fellow Canadians still traveling to the US for personal vacation reasons. Not family. How can I get them to understand that what they are doing is taking much needed dollars out of our economy and feeding an economy that is threatening our existence. Please help?

Carney is doing everything to preserve a Canada against a very changing world. I too wish the environment could be the top priority but it can't. We need as strong economy to defend against the threat. Without it we are very vulnerable. Let's get on board and recognize reality.

I'm a Carney supporter. But this I cannot support. Never have I seen a private business put safety over profits. I like the fact that in Canada our airports are safety first. It may look good to Carney on the income statement, but not everything is about the ledgers.

I believed Carney was (and still has a chance to be) the right man for the job at the right time. The worst thing that could happen did happen. A majority government. Majority governments fly in the face of democracy. They foster arrogance. Mr. Carney please show you truly are Canadian.

As an early supporter of his I feared a majority government. In fact I fear any majority government. This is an early sign of why majority governments are not good for democracies.

Nothing worse than the feeling of doubt in your elected leader. Damn.

Ford's antics are the result of the majority granted to him by Ontario voters. Majority governments are contrary to what democracy is built on. As a Carney supporter I am not happy with the powers granted a majority govt. Just look at the abuse by Ford. Does anyone have the answer? I already vote.

As a Canadian I have been so encouraged and proud of #Carney and his leadership. Until now. Mr. Carney your support of the attack on Iran does not represent what I believe my fellow Canadians support. There are ways to deal with global threats and this was not the way.
