I've been reading Dungeon Crawler Carl recently and oh boy I am so very entertained. ... I can't believe my favorite character is a severed head of a sex doll. Yep. Love you Samantha.

Joo, tuntui kovin raikkaalta tuulahdukselta tähän monien pettymysten väliin!

He is fun! But yeah it’s full of characters who we already know from previous Marvel movies so you’d need to watch those before this one

Thunderbolts* was so good!! I love Bob so much I must protect that sweet boy ;__;

Spiders are best enjoyed in text form

Nth deserves everything and more ;__; Every time he was described as this uncanny hideous monster, I just pictured a cute long-limbed guy with a 🥺-face (just with some additional eyes) I mean he CAN'T look that bad guys, c'mon

Okay, Spiderlight was… interesting. Some fun spiderthings that made me laugh out loud. The most dysfunctional party of adventurers - most of them were horrible human beings and I was thoroughly scandalized by how they treated our sweet little spidermonster for most of the book.

I ordered a lot of pretty art for my sad, bare rental walls, and now customs is punishing me for it so hard 😭

070

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

It is! And it was pain and suffering 😂

110

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

I wanted to draw something disgustingly romantic but it would be boring if it was just sweet and cute so obviously someone had to be dead as well

040

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

I ordered some clothes and got them today and was prepared for the usual disappointment and nothing looking good on me BUT everything fits and looks nice? How?? This never happens 😭

Tykkään Green Datesin Sour Strawberrystä! Se on mukavan kirpsakka 😎

Emily and Wendell are a fine duo, and their interactions make me very happy - I really love Wendell's golden retriever energy. Looking back now, I can't believe I didn't actually like Wendell that much when I read the first book, but he really grew on me.

My Emily Wilde collection is now complete 💚 And what beautiful books they are! This is a very feel-good series for me, so peaceful and comforting. I adore Emily as a character, and the fairy lore is so interesting. The balance between romance, plot, and character moments is just perfect.

Yes! The worst thing is if the inspiration comes and you're physically in a situation where you just can't draw/write/do whatever creative thing you're into 😭

I made this image that demonstrates the monthly cycle of an artist Those worm days are tough man

As long as Red is in the position of power 👌Though I’m not sure about making the wolf just a man, surely he should be a furry at least …

Joo, ihan kelpoja aiheita kumpikin 😆

Thank you, I still like it 😂

This was supposed to be my take on Little Red Riding Hood who has grown up to be a knight and she doesn't have to fear any wolfs again but instead it looks like a period metaphor lol

I love enemies-to-friends -trope so much. I'm always raging when the enemy is the most awful person on earth and then in the end the protag doesn't even befriend them, what kind of bad writing is that!! I need my villain redemption arcs

The funny thing is, I absolutely dislike making horizontal drawings - not sure why, they just feel difficult But maybe thinness could win me over

010

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

I'm absolutely in love making thin pictures now, the unusual shape makes drawing so much fun!! I actually made even taller version of this, I might make some bookmarks 😊

The time period and game making reminded me of the show Halt and Catch Fire (which I watched fully even though I passionately HATED just about every single character) but just with actually good characters and cooler game ideas :D I wish Ichigo existed for real, it sounds like a great game ;_;

I got my own copy of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow so I can finally blog about it a little💜 It's such a beautiful book that has the perfect taste of nostalgia and youth and life. All characters feel like actual flawed human beings with their own complicated feelings and relationships.

Yess it’s the best thing

I have an excel sheet that has all the series I'm in the middle of reading & all the upcoming books I want to read and their publication dates and for some reason looking at it and updating it makes me ridiculously happy Excel sheets are fun ☺️

Oh Red Rising is on my reading list! Good to know it’s going to be good then 😌

Wow, Better Man was beautiful. One of the most visually impressive movies I've ever seen. (also, just, hear me out here - that was one really attractive monkey...)

I recently finished Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow (absolutely adored it!) and Under the Whispering Door (didn't love this) and now I just started reading They Both Die at the End (it seems cool but I have only read like 40 pages so far) Have you read anything good lately?

110

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

In Heavenly Tyrant there was definitely more time for the important relationship and for once I actually really really liked the romantic aspects of a book, it was very correct kind of toxic for me and my preferences uwu I'm often quite picky with my romances so it was really nice!

020

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

Iron Widow had some pretty amazing feminine rage, huge zoomorphic mechas and pilot-pair system straight out of Darling in the Franxx, and my only grievance with the first book was that some parts felt a little rushed and I'd have wanted more time for the relationships to develop.

110

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

I read Iron Widow a couple weeks ago and just finished Heavenly Tyrant! And well well well, this was an interesting pair of books for sure. (so I obviously needed to buy the pretty editions, look at them, so vivid!)

I just have a very anxious brain and I’m controlling it by reading 😅 Silly brain doesn’t invent problems out of nowhere when it’s preoccupied by stories, hah!

Kaikki on paremmin elämässä kun on hyllyssä pino viihdettä kulutettavaksi 😤

Oh I definitely read them, I usually read 14-20 books per month! I get most of the books I read from the library but I do like collecting things I like.

I have Nona sitting on my shelf still, I'm saving the experience for later 😆 But yep these feel really unique books!

110

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

It was a sweet little story and I was expecting all the creatures to be kids' versions so that's fine and all but I just can't accept pregnant vampires 😭

000

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

I rarely buy middle grade books (since I'm not exactly their target audience anymore, it's just that their covers are often so beautiful and colorful and tempting) but The Pumpkin Princess and the Forever Night just called to me. I mean look at that cover!!

Or maybe they were just different kind of good and I just lean this way because I want to marry Harrow and be Harrow (always impossible to know which one it is) and she is such a tragedy in a very attractive way

000

Nuut @nuut.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

The world Tamsyn Muir has built is just so aesthetically pleasing for me, her character game is A++ and humor is top notch. Gideon was such a fantastic ride that I was afraid the second book wouldn't deliver but in the end I still maybe liked Harrow more? Maybe??
