I hate that I'm working with AI now. But I'm also the first person on my team to start looking into fixing our broken processes and I'm using my extra cycles to start fixing long standing problems (just, you know, in between slop PRs)

Good question. My needs are fairly basic. I liked DO because it was fairly cheap, a really simple dashboard (and decent enough terraform provider), and had a good variety of tooling. I have a small VM, use their app service for a well unused blog that I should use more, and their DNS hosting
