Whilst going through my FA gallery saving picture descriptions I updated the caption on this Cyberman kink art I commissioned from @rousseausmutte.bsky.social over a decade ago. Since hardly anybody will find it there, I'm sharing it here too

A black and white scene in some kind of spaceship perhaps. A dragon in a rainsuit and wellingtons is on his hands and knees, apparently being forced to lick the boot of a Cyberman, designed in the style of The Moonbase or The Tomb Of The Cybermen

Rumours have circulated since the late 70s of the lost Doctor Who serial 'Seduction Of The Cybermen'. Can it be real? It hardly seems possible. There's no known gaps in the broadcast or production run where it would fit in, and many of the details are just peculiar. Its credits identify it as a Second Doctor serial with Jamie and Zoe, but like 'Mission To The Unknown' none of those or ANY pre-established characters appear at all. There's just a lot of Cybermen in a futuristic command centre, and a dragonlike alien (sometimes wrongly identified as a Sea Devil) in waterproofs and rubber boots. And all of its episodes are titled, a trend that ended during the First Doctor's era: 'The Stomping of Boots', 'Entering The Dragon's Cave', 'The Test Of Endurance', 'Eruption And Flood'

And this is not even the strangest part, for not only does this supposed lost serial feature every type of Cyberman that could feasibly have appeared in a 1960s serial, but those appearing in 1975's 'Revenge Of The Cybermen' as well. And the variety keeps growing: subsequent accounts describe Cyberman headpieces as late as 2020's 'The Timeless Children' appearing, on bodies adapted from the typical wetsuit-and-wellies designs of the early era. This is impossible, yet people insist they've borne witness to one of the four episodes in a reclusive hoarder's livingroom perhaps, or in a dusty film archive from which it subsequently vanished. And they all have such a grave, reluctant seriousness when discussing them that it's difficult to discredit them as just some decades-long handshake-agreement of kayfabe. As for the actual content, everyone who claims to have seen episodes says that the plot is "mostly ambient"
