Found evidence that I’ve actually always been the type to make up fankids. Here’s a child OC I made when I was 15 (you’ll never guess who she’s supposed to be the kid of, but the pics have some hints).

I don’t have a cat but I have friends who do, and my other non-cat-owner friend and I take pics of the friend group cats and lovingly show them off to everyone. So yeah it’s kind of what I imagine the ouran host club guys are like as “uncles”.

One thing I’ll say about The Discourse is it’s making me feel okay to leave the big prints and cubes at home when I fly out for MILK in a couple weeks

People who can finish inking one page from start to finish and then move onto the next: powerful, strong-willed, good at answering emails probably.

whenever i talk about the existing events that are not accessible for amateur doujinshi participation on the one hand i'm talking about anime cons and on the other hand i'm talking about like, small press shows. it's interesting bc imo they're kinda inaccessible in opposite directions

Lowkey want to start a blog thing so I can share my thoughts and feelings about the con (and like comics in general). Realizing I am a terminal yapper who needs to yap without a word limit

my third tamaharu zine 💖 available for the first time at Flame Con weekend!

A photo of a hand holding a zine. The cover is of Tamaki Suoh and Haruhi Fujioka in a bathtub, with the title Après. In the foreground and surrounding is my beloved prayer plant’s leaves

made a mock-up last night for my new con setup

1170

meg @nutmargaret.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

the zine is finished and tentatively (hopefully) will be printed and here by Flame Con. I kind of rushed at the end because I kept dragging my feet, so this go around really took it out of me. I really hope it’s good and other fans like it.

i admit I post here so much because it’s the easiest way to immediately spot issues I have with a drawing. then I go back and fix it.

I’ve become addicted to reading Manga Ichiba blogposts and crying. I love doujinshi!! I want to make more and buy more forever! Please someone out there make a doujin fest for New York, you will be reincarnated as a lotus flower etc etc

I drew a Haruhi in profile last week and just found that I did nearly the same thing 4 years ago.

I’m so frustrated I can’t get all my comics/wips done for the next tamaharu zine but it‘s getting ridiculous. I’ve been putting off making it for literal years and I just need to pull the trigger
