I was digging through my art archive and remembered drawing this little dude! I loved him so much I needed to draw him getting kissed by a floating head with disembodied hands. This was drawn at 2024, so his design has changed since. Starbunny belongs to @starlightstarbunny.bsky.social!

How would I imagine an MS-DOS-styled crash screen? Trying to detect the problem, too? I think that would have been technologically challenging in the old days, but it is still fun to think about.

Crash screen concept from an early 90s computer that never existed along with the issue detected and its solution. It tries to relate to the user, too.

I like to dither drawings. Here are two examples of original vs. dithered images. They are like from video game consoles that never existed. The software I used for these examples was Dither Me This.

Undithered image of what turned out to look like a grassy field in the result. The green area is a soft gradient that turned to blue which is the sky, before finally fading into a noisy white which represents the clouds.

Dithered result of the left image. There are small bumps in the green area which I thought resembled grass, and I thought the cloud pattern above was interesting.
