You only need components for UI if you have state/data/logic that isn't UI related, put it somewhere else

something is going on with GitHub / GitHub owned services. I'm seeing in-page errors that disappear on refresh. I'm seeing very slow (or still delayed) npm releases. Occasional full page errors. GH status says everything is ok. NPM status says everything is ok. lies.

Again and again, demanding work from dozens or hundreds or thousands of unaffected dependents instead of fixing vulnerability scanners does not scale, and is an open source sustainability issue. github.com/FiloSottile/... (do NOT dogpile on the reporter, call your vuln scanner vendor instead)

yea, it's wild, I can only assume the better-than-10x improvement is due to all the abstractions / monkey patching needed for custom file formats in TS < 7. > checkers I'm unfamiliar with this? what is it?
