In this thread they were called "derailments" by a moderator, and people were told to go to dedicated threads to discuss AI. But there is also a forum rule that prohibits discussion? The ultimate effect in any case is censorship of anyone who disagrees, giving pro-AI projects free reign.

RGT forum moderator JustLooking123 pins a post to a thread about an AI-translated title saying:

"The discussions about AI have been a recurring derailment on this thread.
There are threads dedicated to such discussions, and users are free to use them to express their opinion about AI.

In order to prevent further derailments, any further AI discussions will be deleted from this thread, and bringing it up again in this thread will result in an immediate warning.

Thanks for understanding."

The next time someone defends game prices with "they should cost more because of inflation" just show them this. Real wages went up only 8% in this time frame, while prices increased 663.66%. Prices have increased to at least 896.92% since 2014.
