It is a very bright moment for digital monochrome photography. Ricoh’s long-awaited release of the GR with a monochrome sensor makes true black-and-white capture more accessible, allowing more people to experience the difference of genuine, in-camera B&W images.

The most exciting feature of the Fujifilm Half could be its "film" advance crank, possibly cocking the shutter like the old Epson R-D1 (though it may use a leaf shutter). Even if it's just a gimmick, like the Leica M10-D, it’s thrilling to see this feature return to a digital camera.
