We are never going to win the argument that nudity isn't sexual. Not with the general public. Porn, ads, algorithms, and paywalls built that wall long before we showed up. So what do we do instead? New article is up! Let's talk about it. ournaturistlife.com/2026/10/07/s...

As @aanr-social.bsky.social President, one of my initiatives is ensuring our members are heard. I am proud to introduce the new AANR Member Feedback Form as a way to share your ideas, questions, concerns, and suggestions. We are listening!

Six weeks after launching FUNN, we joined naturists from around the world at the INF-FNI Congress in Kecskemét, Hungary. We brought our members’ voices into the votes, made new friends, and helped put US naturism back at the table. We’re just getting started. joinfunn.org

FUNN was well received as we introduced ourselves and our membership at the INF-FNI Congress in Kecskemét, Hungary this weekend. We had a wonderful time meeting delegates from around the world. Köszönöm to @worldnaturism.bsky.social and the Federation of Naturists in Hungary for an excellent event!

Presented Gary Mussell with @aanr-social.bsky.social's top award, the Hall of Fame, for exceptional service and dedication to wholesome nudism. I was especially proud because Gary was my Regional President for AANR-W when I first joined AANR, and he has been a great mentor to me since.

If social media keeps treating naturism as just another form of adult content, it becomes harder for the public to understand what naturism actually is. That feels like an issue organized naturism should be tackling together. The question then is how to get the attention of these big tech companies?

Morning coffee out of my Dolly cup in her honor. ☕️ Also, I finally joined FUNN (@joinfunn.bsky.social) . In a time of rising xenophobia, it’s important that nudists stay connected to the global community. Let’s make our nudist community more international, connected, and inclusive.

A nude man sits at his computer in a Seattle Mariners cap, holding a white coffee mug that reads “What would Dolly do?” The computer screen behind him shows the FUNN website. He smiles slightly toward the camera while enjoying his morning coffee.

for the record I am pro-retiring body shaming FOR EVERYBODY whether it's too much weight, too little, too much hair or too little or the wrong kind, too big of nose or eyes or lips or ears or too small, too much height or too little, too much boobs or butt or not enough, AND too much HEALTH or not

U.S. naturism does not need to retreat into its own little corner of the world. We should be part of the larger conversation about how society makes room for body freedom. That’s one reason international connection matters so much to me.

Evan Nicks @nudernix.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

One danger of isolation is starting to mistake American norms for universal ones. Naturism has developed very differently elsewhere, and staying connected gives us a wider sense of what is actually possible.

Evan Nicks @nudernix.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

The more inward-looking and puritanical American politics becomes, the more important it is for U.S. naturists to maintain international ties. Other countries give us allies and real-world examples of how naturism can have a legitimate place in public life. This is more important now than ever

Once that happened, creating a new U.S. federation specifically built around INF membership became the practical path that eventually led to FUNN.

Evan Nicks @nudernix.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

The vote wasn’t a rejection of AANR as an organization. It was a vote on changing an INF policy that affected multiple federations and countries. The vote was close, but the members chose to keep the existing rule.

Evan Nicks @nudernix.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I was fortunate to attend that Congress representing both AANR and the BEACHES Found. and was given the opportunity to address the congress on AANR’s behalf. I spoke about AANR’s strong interest in returning if INF moved away from the 100% rule. There was also clear interest in having the U.S. back.
