They interviewed this guy on NPR bc he had an “incredible” chicken recipe The recipe: chicken cooked in chicken stock, with a spoonful of dijon mustard on it. And he said it was spicy. And yes, yes he was.

Thank you, I’ll have to look into this. I had mentioned this facility to my doctor before as I looked into specialists in GA & she steered me away from them… now I know it’s bc she was funneling me toward only other Catholics. Definitely worth a closer look

This entire thing is wild. I do believe in God but I’m not Catholic. I’m pro-science & pro-choice. I hate knowing that my care has been influenced by her religion. She’s managed my care for 1.5 years incl operating on me. & then chose today to slam the Catholic button. This shit should be illegal.

At the end of the appointment, as I sat in the chair & cried about the pain I’ve been in for months, asking her for other pain relief methods while I wait for surgery with a different specialist, she stood over me & said God is in control. & told me to take melatonin.

Today my doctor (Catholic, unbeknownst to me til today) said that if I explored fertility treatments like IVF, it would be like putting 40 babies in the freezer & then 39 babies in the trash, & babies should be conceived only in a passionate act of love between a man and a woman. WHAT THE FUCK.
