Wasn’t aware of the Korean differences (noticed the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive app does list Korean versions alongside European ones as an option. I have a list myself of the total games for each system and Japan/other regions, but it’s just on my phone’s notes app and is a bit unorganized.

Jack Bros., V-TETRIS, SPACE INVADERS VIRTUAL COLLECTION, VIRTUAL BOWLING, and VERTICAL FORCE for Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics are now available! Yeah I personally thought we would have gotten a second update in April, perhaps around the 21st-23rd. I think there is a decent chance of an update tonight/tomorrow though. With the Nintendo Music update not out yet, it could coincide with a release. (Mario Sunshine perhaps?)

Apparently the GameCube app has an updated CRT shader that uses HDR. I did notice on the last Virtual Boy update that there was some kind of HDR support going on, I did not mention about an updated CRT shader file on it because I kind of dismissed it (it's leftovers from other apps)

[Classics - Virtual Boy] The app has been released and is now available for download on the eShop. Virtual Boy goggles (cardboard or plastic) are required to play. Labo VR goggles will work on Switch 1, but aren't officially supported. The app will NOT work in docked mode.

When you see this screen in VB games, go to the IPD setup, make sure to focus your eyes on the middle, avoid any trapezoid on the VB squares on the corners like the left image, try to get to a clean vertical alignment like on the right image. #VirtualBoy

Galactic Pinball’s Metroid references are pretty neat! The bonus game where you control Samus’ ship is rather fun along with the rendition of the theme of Samus Aran. Too bad clips can’t be recorded in VR mode though. #NintendoSwitch #VirtualBoy #NintendoSwitchOnline #NintendoClassics

VB NSO Japan release quick impressions: - With the replica headset and a Switch 2, you are basically getting 85% of the feel of playing on original hardware (aside from having no VB controller) - The red lens cover on the replica filters out the LCD backlight, which really helps sell the feel

The Japanese version of Balloon Kid has a Game Boy Color version instead too! You will need the Japanese Game Boy app to access it though. (Can be obtained by creating a Japanese account and downloading, then playing on your main account, or temporarily changing your own region to download it)
