Today drops a new set in Master Duel - Selection Pack: Arising of the Apocalypse. Let's see what it adds to my favorite alt format - #NRFormat 🧵👇

Some new Phantom Knights! Umbrage Veil might see play, the NR PK isn't the most popular but it could have some use as a GY XYZ effect. Like a Full-Armored XYZ New RUM would be nice, since we dont really have that many ways to do it. But we also have no xyz dragons and only 1 PK xyz😭 so its DOA

000

Same with this DoomZ spell It OUCLD be played, but its not playable

100

Sadly... NR does not do Power Patron (All we have is Doomz) Vilaea is useless Final Hour is bad Both are unplayable in the format

100

This is interesting! NR Charmers are sort of playable? Ish... but this is most likely a Magistus and Altergeist card for us. Or Witchcrafter? Probably not the best card but its cute giving us a free Pend summon from hand. I wonder if banishing is good here?

100

Didn't even realize we got this one too at first! Sadly there is only 1 NR Invocation - and its the Magistus one. But A target is infinitely better than NO target. Being a GY negate is nice too. Not sure how useful in NR it will be but overall I like it! Hopefully Magistus gets some momentum now

000

Baybarron grabbing this is really nice. There might be a small Invoked Tear Package with this in the format now. Excited to see what comes from it. Its only a few cards but Invoked really seems playable now, when it was just a Rock or Tear tech in the past

100

Sorath is cool being a gy poly. New Dogmatika toolbox incoming. The new LawBringer + Dogmatika Beast trap package is about to POP OFF. Normal monster, link off into Induk, Lawbringer ss, send this, link 2 into Link Alesiter, use GY effect to poly into something This COOKS in NR DUDE

100

Onto the real juice! Invoked! NR Cannot normal summon Aleister, but we can fake it! Baybarron seems very good - adding a card & hitting the GY is very strong. The gy effect is a nice game ender We actually have both targets in NR too, so this has real game in the format

100

Honestly the whole Legacy Pack update is cool. Equips are bad but in a bad format, they are ever so slightly better. There is nothing super busted to do with them but making Phoenix Gearfried better is good And Shaminite is probably an insect card? Rank3 + Prufinesse Legacy Pack Format to the moon

000

BUT FIRST - Legacy Pack update success! Arsenal Audit is interesting - theres a few good equips to send with thins. Noble Arms obviously, but thers some cute techs too Learning Elf is very cool - Its just a fun card to add in any deck but i think its Red-Eyes support in NR? neat

Today's #NRFormat Wheel deck was Marincess Mannadium! An interesting overlap. Mannadium is very xenophobic, but Mannadium Meek is Water so there is a bridge. Since Torrid is Fire you can use Atlantis with both archetypes. And Mannadium opens up Synchro options for you

I've already got tomorrow morning's ready :D

I get why doug likes it, wheels in yugioh are fun

New day, new wheel spin! Silent Cyberdark lol. There is like, no overlap here 😑There are level 3s I guess? Cyberdark Materiactor is totally fine, and Silent Sword Slash is cool. XYZ Entrust is there to make Swordsman Lv3 into a Lv5 but in a silly way. How would you bridge these two decks? #NRformat

Man who hated self promoting is self promoting again: Yugioh players get a lot of flack for not reading their cards. But what if 3 yugioh players took a quiz without reading the rules? (Link Below!)

Not really sure on the Coatl and if I should be on the Ghostrick fields or not. I can't really played either of these decks before

For today's #NRFormat deck, I spun a wheel! And got Ghostrick Reptilianne. There is an interesting synergy between the Reptilianne set ATK to 0 and Ghostrick Socuteboss destroy monsters with low ATK. Nekomusume is also a floodgate effect. An interesting combination for sure

How Many incarnations of Warrior Dai Grepher are there where he keeps his name? (Including his vanilla form) Answer: 5 (Warrior Dai, Dark, Lightray, Knight Day, Chaos) Ryu Senshi and Dark Lucius Lv4/6/8 drop the name Honestly Grepher has enough juice that it could be an entire category

000

Solid end to the event. Hope it comes back more frequently than my other favorite thing on Master duel

Wasn't the original a saga about how he has an important destiny? I wonder why changed it 🤔 for spoilers?

100

What a Peak choice! I have lost to this before and I cant even be mad lol And she almost has built in Googly Eyes

He will always be Harpies' Bro in our hearts 💝 And a GOAT of all time. 1800 carried the game for a long while. Loved opening him in sealed 💪

I'll start with my one and always bsky.app/profile/nryg...

N/R is awash in Normal Monsters, to no one's surprise. But do you have a favorite? And old LOB-era level 6 FIRE monster that got you through the early days collection? Dipity for Magikey Fiendsmith level 4 slop? What normal monster do you jam into a deck when you can?

Thought it had been a while since I had seen a #NRFormat Megalith deck. Boss Stage unbanned Bethor to 1 copy, which gives the deck some explosions back. Ashlan still makes finding Lord of the Red easy. 3 Imp Fields might be too much but I was running out of ideas lol #NRMD #NRJP

So the new AMH is just a guy having chatGPT psychosis as it feeds him stuff about the number 13 when he's not asking about it? Because it knows he's afraid of ot?

Cant believe you need to get lucky in bulk bins to find this card. Had like 5 Rare (just... rare. No foil, silver name) but no common prints. Its like $5 a pop

In the various card arts it does look blue. That's a touch I really liked in the recent Art Work Animation. Blue Eyes actually looked white. Still got the blue shadows and chest armor, but mostly it does look like a white dragon youtu.be/edklrtKN77o?...

Blue eyes white dragon looking white and not blue
