![1. Low angle floor-level with Renfield as he gets up with the help of his cane, fully turning his back to Ivan. Ivan is looking shocked. Ivan and Renfield are being given a side-eye by Snowstorm The Hedgehog [Skoot] who is busy putting makeup on a clown. Chao [Chaogongoozles] is in the background giving a side-eye as well among a crowd of other circus stagehands.
RENFIELD: Now get out there and lift something heavy.
IVAN: But – You – You cannot be doing this!
2. Side angle with Renfield marching forward, looking frustrated while Ivan runs to stand in Renfield’s way, hands held up to stop him.
RENFIELD: Just did.
IVAN: This circus is last one still running! If fired, Ivan’s career as strong man will be over!
RENFIELD: Ah, darn! What a shame! Too bad that ain’t my problem.
3. Mid shot low angle of Ivan (so he’s staring directly at the reader), now pink in the face with anger as he gestures toward himself frantically. He is furious, but also looking like he’s on the verge of crying.
IVAN: What about Ivan’s fans?!
4. Close-up of Renfield, looking stunned.
5. Same shot, but now Renfield’s face has broken into a shit-eating grin.
RENFIELD: Your… “Fans”?
RENFIELD: Ivan… What fans?
6. Back to Ivan’s face, close-up shot now as he listens with a shocked expression.
RENFIELD [Off-panel from below]: You’re a hack with a bloated ego who should’a retired years ago.
RENFIELD: You’re filler. Something to look at while folks are finding their seats. That’s why you’re first.
RENFIELD: The real show begins when you leave the ring.
7. Extreme close-up on Ivan’s eyes. He’s still shocked.
RENFIELD: No one cares about strongmen anymore.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:rqcwadey27sioadkqc5hrmnf/bafkreihslzgd4t5eng2amasgggohyu5fpqdksgigvxvsvvrtiy3ixazpci)
![Circus ext. concession area, small square panel. Close up of hands exchanging popcorn and mobiums (nts: come up with a nice ring-themed design for mobiums)
Small square panel, a collection of colorful balloons
Small square panel, a wall plastered in posters for the various circus acts. Include Ivan’s poster, “Magnus The Magnificent”
Wide shot of the circus interior, with its customers either walking in or already seated. Crystal [Jays—Wing] is a crowd extra in this shot, Candela [Mexicanesecat] is laughing at a clown entertaining the waiting crowd while Skye [Calculuscacophony] watches the clown with curiosity. Speech balloons in this panel should be lower and lead directly into Panel 5.
RENFIELD [DISEMBODIED]: Ivan!
RENFIELD [DISEMBODIED]: Ivan!
Long shot of Renfield The Rodent marching through the backstage area of the circus in ringleader getup, cane in his tight and angry fist.
RENFIELD: … Last time I ever work with that petulant pachyderm!
RENFIELD: Late for a crowd this big, I oughta fire his ass after this!
Mid shot of Renfield, side angle, as he squeezes his eyes shut while shouting angrily.
RENFIELD: Ivan, for the love of Chaos, getchyer trunk on that stage or i’ll –!
Mid shot, still focused on Renfield, who collides with Ivan (who is too large to fit in this panel).
RENFIELD: D’Oof!
