Ace Combat 8 is so damn cool It's going in my GOTY list for 2026 Just finished a Veteran play through using expert controls. It plays like a dream. The story and characters are great too Actually had me caring about them and being hype AF (or dreading) when certain things happened. I want more!

I want to like #HaloCampaignEvolved. But so far it's not scratching that itch. I can't take it seriously when they want to adhere to 20 years of well loved and established lore. But then treat the prequel missions like badly made fan mods from Custom Edition and immediately break important lore.

First up, a return to a much loved franchise... Digimon Season 3! (Digimon Tamers) The English dubbed version of Tamers gets a solid HD upscale, like our prior Digimon TV releases. Just in time to watch it for its 25th anniversary! Digimon Tamers subbed will come later.

DLSS 5 feels like a massive nail in the coffin for how Nvidia wants to treat games and devs. They're so desperate to push their "AI" agenda that they're no longer interested in enhancing effects. Now they want to control and replace art itself. With you needing to buy into their "AI" crap to play

That's Resident Evil Requiem done Might be the best RE game in a while Even the scares got me from time to time. Despite guessing what'll happen. So props for still being able to pull it off. It's also one of the most stunningly gorgeous games I've played. I can't wait for what's next.

Whoever at Disney is doing marketing for Marvel needs to be sacked. I went in with zero expectations for Wonder Man due to the lack of marketing and its a legit good series.

You'd think that Australia would be well prepared for the notorious summer heat. But no. The moment it's a hot day and people turn the AC on, the power for the state goes out. It's like 40C right now and the power went out and will apparently be out for a good few hours.

Josh @novusdundus.bsky.social · 09/01/2026

The power has been out for most of the day. And it's a scorcher. So the entire suburb literally cheered when it came back on. It was louder than New Years 😂

This is going to sound crazy. But #MetroidPrime4 is doing #Halo better than Halo has in a long time. I love it I also wish Halo was more like this. Imagine if Infinite had you exploring and backtracking in a fun way as you gain new abilities.

Apparently a tornado hit my area yesterday. As in there's damage not even 2 streets away being reported on the news. I had no idea. I was even outside when it apparently hit and didn't notice anything aside from a little wind and short thunderstorm.

Xbox NEEDS to escape the Microsoft hellhole. Split off the Xbox division into their own company. Microsoft just keeps gutting Xbox whenever they need to save a single dollar. It's legit impossible to be excited for any game they've got under them when this keeps happening no matter what.

Josh @novusdundus.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

I don't think anything has come close to how great the feelings are with both #DeathStranding games. The progression from a wasteland to a thriving community that is driven by every single player building up structures, mines, roads and monorail lines. While amazing music plays in the background 👍
