He's purple because of Starmie and has a stone in his head for the same reason. Besides these two bits of connection you'd probably have no idea what this character is based on. I think that's awesome.

One time I did a Nuzlocke of Ultra Sun where I named every Pokémon some combination of either the start or end of their name with nuz or locke added. Caught a Staryu and named it Starlocke. That's where the character Starlocke gets his name in Thrones of Time.

I can’t stop thinking about this little figure Ruby found at a BookOff on our trip. What an incredibly perfect souvenir to find on our last night. I had never even seen it before!

1st episode of the Alola Dex Quest just hit 40k views, making it our 5th most watched video. That’s so awesome. Doing a series like this is so creatively fulfilling because it means even my efforts from 2 years ago are still being appreciated today.

YEESH that would be AWFUL!!! Yeah I was so nervous stuff would go wrong on the trip itself yet it went perfectly so I’m glad that if something bad HAD to happen it was after the trip itself

CMRobles (Gremlin²) @cmr.novastorm.cloud · 29/09/2026

Upsetting ending to a perfect trip, but I guess the vibes had to equalize somehow.

I think on the descent home my eardrums burst. Super super painful landing, and for a whole day after now my hearing has been muffled and buzzing. Probably won’t be back to streaming for a bit. Hoping this heals on its own soon and doesn’t get infected.

One of these days I do actually want to

110

CMRobles (Gremlin²) @cmr.novastorm.cloud · 28/09/2026

Back in California, which doesn’t have a Pokémon region based on it, so things are worse, obviously.

I think of all the alola dex so far the pokemon to get the biggest bump in opinion for me as a result of working on this project has been Comfey. It’s my favorite fairy type now and it’s not even close.

0340

CMRobles (Gremlin²) @cmr.novastorm.cloud · 27/09/2026

The Hawaii exclusive Comfey has eluded me this entire trip, taunting me. Really hope I can catch one on the way to the airport

It sucks here especially because we’re trying to eat exclusively local but every local place is so ai-ed up

So sad to see that literally every business we’ve seen in Hawaii is using AI generated signage. This is the worst I’ve ever seen it.

HATCHED OWN TEMPO ROCKRUFF IN HAWAII ALSO???? Dusk Lycanroc is ALSO a new Dex entry on the trip. I stockpiled like 400 eggs and it showed up in 178. This is insane. Perfect trip. Can’t wait to make videos with this footage. So much stuff I can’t wait to show you all.

it is really amazing that a huge corporation spent more than a billion dollars on a trilogy of movies in one of the most popular franchises of all time without even a rough draft of where the story was going to go. not answering the question it's just weird

This video is going to be so awesome. This Rockruff is extra special. But I can’t even make the vid until I find the full odds lycanrocs once I get home lol. Hope the wait is worth it!

This is the only aspect of streaming I don’t like. Hoping to find a balance where I don’t have a low level of disappointment that something exciting happened offline and focus instead on the fact something exciting happened at all

My finds!!! No Girafarig, but that’s okay. Joltik & Vivillon were the ones I wanted to find in the air the most. Joltik took 41 wormholes… 2nd longest phase was 15 for Delcatty….

Well I tried. Ending at 5k on phase 5 for lycanroc. Hunt will continue after the trip, after I’ve hopefully found SOS rockruff there. This restructures my plans for the vid but that’s fine, I’ll figure it out. Nervous cuz it seems a storm is hitting for exactly the amount of time we’ll be there lol
