Some amazing artwork by my friend Honey of my character Aria and my buddy GlowGreen for our Terraria playthrough that wrapped up last week. Him and I stream Monday nights and are currently working through Planet Crafter, come hang out sometime! And go give Honey some support for her amazing art c:

based maplestory fan, you gonna be playing Classic World when it comes out?

I noticed recently while walking home. People can't get off their screens for more than a few seconds. I saw groups of people chatting and hanging out, but everyone had their phone in hand, constantly glancing down and scrolling. I'm guilty of it sometimes but man seeing that felt so dystopian idk

I've come to the realization that VRChat content just isn't speaking to me in the same way it used to. I've been having a lot of fun streaming, playing a variety of games, and spending time with friends. I'll still probably post a VRC video from time to time, but it's no longer my top priority.

Tonight, we 100% PEAK! Finally, I can wear my big gold badge with pride. But this isn't the last we've seen of PEAK. I still plan to do all the Ascents eventually... 👀 Stay tuned for that. :3 Tomorrow I'm gonna hop on Denshattack, be sure not to miss it~

It's crazy how all creator platforms are encouraging the death of creativity. "We love our creative minds, let's help them lose their creativity!"

Very little of this raw emotion bleeds into the finished video but I have cried several times during recording and editing. Outer Wilds is such a meaningful game to me. It shaped my perspective on life. Kickstarted my channel. And brought me and my ex closer. It's become a core part of my identity.

020

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

My next video coming out Friday is a 4 year anniversary of the channel and I'm revisiting Outer Wilds maps in VRChat, as a callback to my first video on NovaRedux. When I tell you I started SOBBING when I loaded into the Title Screen Planet world... This has been a hard video to make.

I get this. Days where I have so much time to work on things I'm behind on but instead I dissociate, binge YouTube Shorts, and get nothing done. Just remember you're only human and you'll have days like that. Unproductive days are not a failure state. 💙

Life update: Started a relationship with a close friend I've known for 3 years and it's looking to be the healthiest relationship I've had to date. 💖 Only problem is if I want this to work, I have to seriously consider moving to the UK due to her circumstances. So uh. Nova going worldwide I guess! 😂

Other way around - if you opt out, but you chat in the channel of someone who hasn't, their chat can be used for training AI.

110

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Fun fact, even if you turn it off, if you talk in the chat of someone who doesn't have it turned off, you're still training the gen AI by chatting there. So make sure all your favorite streamers know before chatting in their streams.

110

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Just to be clear - if you turn this setting off, you will still be used in gen-AI training if you chat in someone else's chat if they have not opted out. Please tell everyone you know who's stream you chat in about this.

One of my favorite things to do when I hop on is exploring New & Noteworthy or even sometimes the Random tab. Blindly joining worlds is so fun.

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I think my main takeaway from today's stream is that I need to pivot to doing more 2D indie platformers. Windswept was an absolute delight and I'd love to do a full playthrough of it at some point. That was some of the most fun I've had in a long time!

010

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I really love the idea of the channel you made. I've toyed with the idea over the years of making something like a "Gaming Facts" channel but it's just blatant disinformation. Like VERY OBVIOUSLY WRONG but being treated seriously. I really got a kick out of yours!

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

What's good, y'all! I've got a BUSY stream week ahead of me and I honestly couldn't be more excited. We're starting Denshattack this week as well as bringing back the Demo streams - plus a Meccha Chameleon collab on Sunday! First time playing that game. 😄 What are you most excited for?

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Omg we're finally getting Pikmin 2

It's been one hell of a hot summer so far! If you're looking for places to cool off in VRChat, consider giving my Summer Worlds video from last year a watch! There's, like, 35 worlds or something showcased over there and I spent a lot of time on it~

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Just remember you don't need to finish it today. Just make a little meaningful progress. Even one step forward is still momentum.

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Good morning, Bluesky! Happy Wednesday 😊 Tell me ONE (1) productive thing you are going to do today. It can be personal or creative - doesn't matter as long as you get yourself pumped up!

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

What do you, as a creator, feel the strongest pull towards? I think what makes your worlds stand out is that they're uniquely your artistic vision. I don't think "make a chill world because people asked" is the right direction, unless you feel a compelling reason to do so.

For the past 4 months, my best friend and I have been working our way through Planet Crafter - a survival crafting game where you are tasked with terraforming a desolate empty planet. After finishing the game and all DLCs, how do I feel about the game? Let's talk about that. youtu.be/FzMgT-kUnus

Here's this week's schedule! Decided to finally whip together a schedule template. What do you think?

I adore your art and animation style. You're doing an incredible job with it, truthfully. We are always our own worst critics.

I've also been toying with the idea of adding a third game in rotation and I think I've finally decided on that game. No scheduled start date yet, but we'll be playing DENSHATTTACK! store.steampowered.com/app/2524850/...

I am going to be a lot more intentional with my game choices for stream as well as the types of videos I put out on my channels. That being said, the Resident Evil marathon is here to stay. Viewership for it may be small now, but I'm fucking dedicated and I can do good things with it.

110

NovaRedux @novaredux.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

I had a very deep conversation about content creation this morning with a friend, and I've come to realize I've become complacent as a creator recently. This shit ain't me. This isn't who I am as a creator. My spark is ablaze right now and it is starved for sustenance. I can do so much more.

I've had to drop some bigger projects before because they just weren't turning out the way I'd hoped. It's a tough thing to do, but don't get trapped by sunk cost fallacy.
