Good luck with this journey. It took me a while to find a drug that worked for me. The very first ones actually made it worse, second ones were good but lost effectiveness so got paired with a third. Then THOSE got replaced with a fourth and eventually added a new one. But now I feel fantastic.

Ahhh that's a really good and cool concept. I feel like I always make the tech of my worlds just a sort of baseline, but the idea of factions having somewhat separate "tech trees", as it were, sounds really cool. How many major factions do you have in your setting? What are their goals?

I love it. With the kinetic missile sort of vibe, it reminds me of the Mass Effect 2-3 Vanguard class, but made more accessible through science and technology, as opposed to bionics. Which I love when technology rivals the powers of (let's be real) magic.
