Natural Variation in Brachypodium distachyon Primarily Links Lignin Reinforcement to Rhizoctonia solani Resistance
Natural variation in Brachypodium distachyon reveals that maintaining or reinforcing lignin-containing secondary cell walls is a major, but not universal, leaf resistance strategy against Rhizoctonia....

We reported that Arabidopsis UGT76B1, known as glycosyltransferase for SA and NHP, showed enzyme activity for SA but NOT NHP in an in vitro assay system that detects released UDP quantitatively. All previous studies rely on NHPG by MS under unavailable chemical standard. www.mdpi.com/2075-1729/16...

We reported that B. distachyon accessions show quantitative resistance to Rhizoctonia solani AG-4 HG-I+II and it seems evolved independently in leaves and roots. www.frontiersin.org/journals/pla...

Frontiers | Quantitative resistance to Rhizoctonia solani AG-4 develops independently in leaves and roots of Brachypodium distachyon
Rhizoctonia solani is a soil-borne phytopathogen with a broad host range, classified into multiple anastomosis groups (AGs). While the rice sheath blight pat...

TIR1-produced cAMP as a second messenger in transcriptional auxin signalling - Nature
cAMP produced by the TIR1/AFB receptors of the main endogenous developmental plant hormone auxin acts as a true second messenger, revising the established paradigm of transcriptional auxin signalling.

Nutrient Requirements Shape the Preferential Habitat of Allorhizobium vitis VAR03-1, a Commensal Bacterium, in the Rhizosphere of Arabidopsis thaliana
Abstract. A diverse range of commensal bacteria inhabit the rhizosphere, influencing host plant growth and responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. While
