I usually don't have much to say about audiobook narrators... but the male voice actor on "Cruel is the Light" is sooooo......boring sounding. He legit sounds like he does not want to be reading. I'm sure it's just me, but he sounds so monotone... #booksky #book #reading #read #books #audiobook

So very curious, what do my fellow book readers like to listen to when reading? Ambiance, music (non-vocal), or nothing? I need something to help me focus more. Silence distracts me lol. #booksky #books #book #reader #reading #read

Haven't been active on#booksky b/c I got really really just overwhelmed with 2025 so far. The fear, the depression. It's almost to much even for my love of reading to overcome. Slowly trying to bring myself back into the light of social media. What's everyone reading? would love #bookrecommendations

I never realized there were people who didn't consider listening to audiobooks a form of "reading" but i will say that I have a hard time keeping my attention to books sometimes and read really slow. So audiobooks really help me in that aspect. #booksky

Day two is almost over. Take a deep breath. Have a glass of water. And if you haven’t had one yet, maybe even eat a little snack. I want you to give yourself permission to take care of yourself even while you’re afraid.

so the far right will own X, facebook, instagram, threads, and tiktok. and we’ll STILL have to hear how oppressed and censored they are.

notice that pops up when you open tiktok:

Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now
A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now.
We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!
