Body Horror Look Outober Day 9) Cursed Form She thinks she's about to become a statistic about unlikely deaths, but what's actually happening is much much much MUCH worse! At least she'll come out the other end alive... not that she knows that yet! #lookoutside

Audrey pre-Visitor (here depicted as a fat brown woman with short red hair) experiencing her Visitor induced transformation/fusion with the red vending machine on floor 1.
As a four part sequence she first realizes her hand is stuck in the dispenser tray. Confused, she tugs at it gently to no avail.

She gives it one last tug with more strength behind it, extending her knees and pulling with her free arm. She shrieks in shock and pain. Her hand not only stays put, but the skin stretches unnaturally, and the bones in her forearm pop! The force of the pull has also started tilting the machine forward. Smoke and sparks emanate from the cord in the back, and the metallic casing slightly warps and bubbles around the dispenser and at the top of the machine.

The machine falls forward, pinning Audrey's legs to the ground. She starts breathing heavily, tears in her eyes as she holds the machine up with her free arm; it shakes from the weight. The stuck arm is dislocated, and the gummy stretched end of the hand is fusing further into the rapidly warping opening. The faint buds of sharp fangs work their way out of the opening as well. The whole machine starts to bubble, drip, and smoke like it's metal exterior is being melted.

Lastly, the machine starts to droop dramatically as the melting progresses, big globs of its casing drip down onto Audrey. Audrey is terrified. Her arms are nearly completely covered in it. The teeth become more pronounced. Below her view, her legs start warping in the same way as the bottom of the machine itself, taking on the apperance of a set of multiple matching legs.

Her eyes shine like high beam headlights, the biggest eye in the middle emitting the most light. While not visible, the Coffee Unit installed within her causes fire to spark in the back of her throat, and smoke drifts out from her mouth. The Spiked Bumper has been affixed across her front, and the white Mycelium Cloak has been draped across her back like a pulled back veil. An eye amulet dangles as it hangs around a few of her bottom teeth.

Audrey, the large red machine with 10 eyes and huge teeth, has a variety of legs sporting different bracelets like a (war) dog tag, a friendship bracelet, a string of teeth, a spiked arm band, and a pink ribbon. In one of her foremost limbs she has a hold of all the pets's leashes. Her side has flyers taped up and down the metal, including one featuring herself and detatchable number slips to message her with.

The pets include: a pink cat with multiple limbs/eyes/tails, a blue and pink slug-like creature with electricity spiking around its eye stalks, a green reptilian beast with no eyes flying with dragonfly wings, and a single detatched eyeball floating with its collar hovering around it.

The city behind her is drawn in abstract with various mutated beings emerging from/swirling around the skyline.

Sophie sleepily mumbles, "I don't wanna... go to bed..."
Sam says, "Sure you don't" while pulling a blanket over her.

Lefty paws at the drink dispenser tray, Audrey's toothy mouth, and sniffs at her. She is sound asleep.

Audrey is woken up suddenly as Lefty starts crawling into the tray. Audrey's numerous eyes are caught between expressions of concern and shock.

Audrey worriedly paws at her face with her feet, unable to reach inside her mouth to grab Lefty. Several sets of eyes to the left stare at Sam in a panic. Sam watches her, unable to respond to any of her thoughts. The other eyes are looking down at the tray with concern.
Audrey, all thinking: "Sam! A little help here?!"
"This is your... kid? Rat baby? Lefty??" "Heeey little guy! Lefty, please go! GET OUTTA THERE!"
"Maybe I could ask Sam to move him?"
"Or... can this kid read yet??"

Audrey imagines one of her blank cans hitting Lefty right on the head and he cries. "WAIT. NO. BAD IDEA."

Audrey's body slumps forward slightly with a creak as she sighs. Baby Lefty has been left alone to take a nap in that drink tray.

Lefty the rat baby sound asleep in the dark interior of Audrey's drink dispenser tray/mouth. Lefty has a stuffed rabbit he's using as a pillow and a blanket clutched in several paws. Audrey's mouth is somewhat organic and light only gets in through the cracks between her closed teeth.

Sam says, "Hey, so, I'm all out of change from before. So I know you can't respond directly... But I hope you like it up here."
Sam smiles at her. "You've been very nice and, I guess, I'm glad I could pay it forward."

A close up shows some of Audrey's eyes looking at Sam's hand.
Sam says, "If there's anything you need, I-"
Audrey pushes her face toward his hand.
Sam, "Oh!"

Sam keeps his hand on Audrey, and she goes "vrrrr" like the whine of a typical vending machine.
Sam, "You like that?"
Sam, thinking, "She started whirring louder..."

Sam leans in to give Audrey a side hug. She's resting her legs, sitting on the floor with her eyes closed as she continues to hum.
Sam, "Yeah, ok! This works. I'm glad you're here."

A sketch comic of Audrey and Sam, feat Dan and Ernest. The four of them have just narrowly survived a battle, bloody bruised and in Dan's case passed out.

Sam: "O-okay... the close calls never stop being scary... ooooh god..."

Sam puts his fully loaded backpack down, looking toward Ernest.
Sam: "If you could help Dan?"
Ernest: "Sure thing."

Sam then takes a cloth over to Audrey, who has a particularly large and bloody series of cuts across her face, under her eyes. Sam has a bleeding cut on the side of his temple, but elects to help clean up Audrey first.

Sam: "This'll sting, sorry."

Audrey looks at him, tired, concerned, silently thinking: "Take care of yourself first, you dummy... I can bleed way longer than you can."

Audrey's mouth tilts up in a smile as some eyes close. She lets herself enjoy the calm moment as Sam cleans her wounds, "This is nice though..."

Her storage door slightly squeaks open, a tendril peaking out.

Sam looks up toward Audrey, unaware of the tendril creeping toward his face. His rag is soaked in Audrey's blood.
Sam: "That's everything I can reach. I'll go grab--?"

The tendril gently swipes at the cut on Sam's face, alerting him to its presence.

The two of them stand there in a moment of silence, unmoving.

Audrey then quickly slams herself shut in embarrassment and points all of her eyes away from Sam.
Sam: "Y-you don't have to be embarrassed!!"

Sam pokes at his own wound.
Sam: "Yikes, I didn't notice I was bleeding there."

Sam walks over to Dan (awake now) and Ernest to get to his bag. Audrey keeps looking away from him.
Sam: "I - uh - I'll get us both bandages, k Audrey?"
Dan and Ernest stare at them, Dan being especially curious eyes emoji at the exchange.

Later that night, Audrey and Sam in seperate rooms are kept awake at the thought of Audrey's tendril staying on Sam's face, carressing it while he leans into the touch.

The next morning Audrey meets with Sam, the both of them slightly flustered but happy to see each other.

Sam waves, "Hey, mornin! How'd you sleep?"

Audrey's door opens wider than before, and she extends a tendril which is met by Sam grabbing hold of it.

Sam: "Oh! Hi! Feeling bold this morning aren't we?"

At the comment Audrey blushes and slams shut again, thinking "DON'T POINT IT OUT!!"

Sam apologetically lifts his hand back, "Didn't mean to tease!! You can, um, it's fine to open up if you need to."

The rest of the sketches are disconnected tangents.

Audrey blushes miserably, lets splayed out on the floor. Thinking "I can't seriously have a crush on the first guy who was nice to be after all this happened... that's pathetic girl get it togetherrrrrr"

Sam has the wikipedia page for Objectum open. Wide eyed and blushing he thinks, "fuck fuck shit god damn it."

Sam has a hold of one of Audrey's feet. She looks down at him, flustered. Thinking, "He's holding my hand... kind of......"

Lastly, a sketch of Sam examining Audrey's back with the note from Mutt, and an extra little doodle of Audrey looking concerned.

Sam recieves her soda can with the hastily scrawled apology from the game. Then he tells Audrey, "Don't worry, you didn't freak me out."

She tries to bite Ernest, who stumbles back, and Colonel Squeakums slashes up her eyes badly. After they run away into the next hallway Audrey regains some composure. Bloody and winded, she tries to clean the blood off by scraping her front against the wall. "Is this getting anything? bet it's worse." another look at her face with the blood smeared to one side confirms it did not help.

The Mask ending in Look Outside is so interesting and still somewhat mysterious in terms of lore and implications. 2nd best only behind the Promise ending. Also, this is my first time making a fandom edit, or any artistic medium honestly. #LookOutside
