The government's reintroduced fuel subsidies have gone into force today, resulting in prices for diesel and PB95 petrol, which were previously over 9 zloty and 8 zloty per litre respectively, dropping to a state-imposed maximum of 7.88 zloty and 6.83 zloty.

A court has approved a request from Marcin Romanowski, a fugitive former government minister from the opposition PiS party, to receive safe passage back to Poland. He is currently believed to be in Transnistria. The decision was condemned by the justice minister, who said prosecutors would appeal.
