Under the @albertandp.ca I waited an average of 3 hours to see a doctor in Calgary. The "Alberta is Calling" was great till everyone showed up, had we had no where to house them, no beds for the hospitals due to the population increase, and are now going 2 tier HC.

What an unprincipled move. Power grabs don't work in Canadian politics. I would argue though that Prentice was a little different in that he was looking for a mandate that he felt he did have as an incoming Premier who wasn't elected. That being said the similarities are there.

Time to build national unity projects that unite the country. I haven't been to the East, because the time commitment to drive and the flight w/ stay cost is prohibitive. Now that we have a project that benefits the Oil corporations, let's make something for us!

What else do you do? In all reality, the only way out from under the US is to build it out. What about a Trans-Canada high speed rail? My mentality is "Cut the Cheque bro!" the more national projects that benefit the majority, is what we need more of. It's like the Great Depression pt 2.
