Hotel beds are often 25-30 inches high, creating safety concerns for wheelchair users with a typical seat height of around 19 inches. There are no ADA standards for hotel bed heights.

Accommodate guests, upon request, by removing the bed frame or box spring to lower the bed.

Remember that 5%, or at least one table, must be accessible. Which means:
Located on an accessible route with at least 36 inches of clearance surrounding the table.
Table height is between 28 and 34 inches above the ground.
Sufficient space to comfortably sit at the table. Provide knee clearance at least 30 inches wide with 27 inches of clearance underneath the table. Toe clearance must be at least 9 inches high and 17 inches deep.

It clarified that under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state-funded supports and services for people with disabilities must be community-based when appropriate, reasonable, and the wish of the individual.
