I had a fascinating meeting with the Director of Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) today. We discussed Cambodia’s role as a protagonist of #memorialization in Southeast Asia and the impact of its recent inscription as an #UNESCO World Heritage Site. I then toured the permanent exhibition afterwards.
