I’m enjoying Nottingham much more as an omnibus. I lost interest between issues, but reading it as one continuous story makes it a lot more fun.

I found my October horror read. I can’t wait to start it tomorrow. “A Vietnam veteran and his niece hunt the vampire responsible for a devastating attack on their family.”

I’m looking to read some horror this month, and this book has popped up in my feed at least three times now. Is it really that good? If you’ve read it, what makes it worth recommending?

This scares the crap out of me, but it’s hard not to enjoy watching it happen to Adobe after 20 years of gouging me left and right.

There weren’t any preview pages online, so I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting, but I’m really happy with the poster selection. They’re also printed on nice, thick paper, which was a pleasant surprise. Nice print quality.

Found a guy on eBay who put a Raspberry Pi in an NES Mini loaded with NES, SNES, Sega, etc. The little dude seems pretty into them, probably because he hasn’t been spoiled by modern consoles yet.😅

This is probably my favorite page from the book. There’s a lot of great action throughout.
A fight inside a dinosaur building. A man at the top fires a shot that ricochets off the bottom floor and hits him in the foot.

Not a totally satisfying conclusion, but it delivers more of Volume One’s great tech-noir atmosphere and body horror.

I came across a strange defect in a trade I’m reading. One of the pages wasn’t trimmed properly, but I didn’t notice until I got to it because the excess paper was folded and torn inward, so you couldn’t see it when the book was closed.

I liked the idea of life inside a sealed-off region after a Godzilla attack. It's filled with dark humor and action. The story gets a little frantic and jumps around a little too much, but it's a fun read.
Godzilla’s silhouette looms in the background, while a mysterious hooded man with a tail stands in the foreground.

What's your "origin" video game? Commander Keen (1990) was the first game I played where exploration really mattered. It felt a little like Super Mario, but with more freedom to poke around and discover things.

This movie reminded me of something Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips would come up with. It’s a slow-burn Southern crime drama with that same gritty, lived-in feel. It’s got a great cast too, especially the secondary characters. They all felt completely authentic, like they belonged in that world.

I watched He-Man on Prime and really enjoyed it. Skeletor had his trademark humor, the familiar characters were all there, and the villains seemed genuinely dangerous, just terrified of Skeletor.
Skeletor’s taunts aimed at He-Man and his companions were some of the movie’s best moments.
