One final word. I am a yapper at heart. Do you understand that your perspective is morally bankrupt? You are essentially saying, "I am going to keep driving this stolen car because no one is enforcing the law and I think I may get some benefit from it." You have civilized words, monstrous actions.

It is best to remove emotion and religious connotations when solving a problem. GenAI is not "devil's work." It is just unreliable and does more harm than good. No net benefit. I am spending less time on social media so I am logging off. Take care.

As a writer and someone who interprets data professionally it was not new learning for me and it is fairly obvious for anyone with an ounce of curiosity. "What is genAI? How does it work? Where does it get its data?" Are pretty basic questions.

It also spreads a lot of misinformation. Especially when you ask it to profile other people. Any time saved by getting a volume of information is wasted by trying to confirm the information is accurate and for finding any missing data it did not share.

Ok, maybe not a bot. Who is choosing the information that you look at? Whatever genAI tool you are using has certain biases. It will only share certain data and certain answers. It is like asking a friend to look online and find answers for you. But the friend has ulterior motives.

Actually, yeah, I do avoid certain internet activities to avoid scams. I cannot even answer phone calls now because of the prevalence of scams. It is not safe to speak first on a phone call because it could be a bot that responds to your voice and records your voice to scam others.

There is also no "expanded" information. It is information humans have found and an algorithm is stealing traffic and money away from the humans who actual gather and confirm data. I know I am talking to a bot, I am explaining for any humans reading this.

Regulations and laws already exist. They are not enforced. More regulations won't help. There are no productivity gains. Just wasting time by constantly having to check what is real and what is stolen/fake and deleting AI bloat ware and fixing AI mistakes. Data shows there is no net productivity.

I froze my credit because my social security number in a government data base was hacked. I have an anti-virus program on my computers. I minimize the number of apps I use or download. I change my passwords often. And I never use AI. Life is dangerous, so I do sensible things to stay safe.

Theoretically, certain pattern-identifying AI could be used to help scientists. It has been used to solve a few math problems. It's main purpose is for surveillance, stealing data, and scams. Overwhelmingly. Even the scientists who use it had their data stolen more often than any other benefit.

Every time I use an app or website I have to go to settings to disable any new AI features. It is all designed to harvest as much personal data as possible so it can build algorithms to steal my identity or to build algorithms that stores use to charge me the highest amount when I shop. +

More on the scam angle. Americans lose $119 billion/year in scams. GenAI technology is being used to steal writing, art, and even identities. It can steal your videos and replace your face. It can steal your voice and scam family. AI chat bots steal data from users. AI is for scams. Follow the $$$

"Our thinking needs to evolve." We are going through a "de-evolution" of intelligence. Reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking levels are dropping. For the first time in history, IQ of general population is dropping. GenAI is not helping this. It is just another scam to steal property.

Sorry I can't stop yapping about this. I was taken by how important it is that Korean people can become internationally famous and successful so that they can curate Korean art and share it from their own perspective, instead of having outsiders steal it and talk about it. This should be the norm!

He also included women artists (Park Rehyun) and described how much admiration he had for her. Besides being leader of BTS, he is saving and sharing Korean art for future gens. Even if I wasn't a fan of BTS, I would seek out this exhibit b/c RM's perspective and voice is needed in the art community.

I had so many thoughts while listening to the audio of RM's SFMOMA exhibit. He mentioned the artist (Kim Whanki) who, after his death in New York, his wife tried to submit his art to various museums in America, but no one would take them. Who gets to decide what artists get remembered and shared? +
