Today I'm feeling like I can work again, code for side-projects, pick up sport again, and discover and get involved in new hobbies

I felt left behind and my mental health kept getting worse. I'm only seeing improvement today after 2 years since all this started, and my 5 months break to South Korea really helped a lot. I learned a lot and experienced many things that were completely unknown to me, and helped me enjoy life again

Been away from Bluesky / X but more broadly from tech socials for the 1.5 past year. With AI taking over I didn't feel like I still belonged to the community, my work and everything I saw online didn't make any sense to me anymore and I needed to take a step back from everything.

The golden thread
AI can serve us as a force multiplier, augmenting our own agency and making the most of our own effort, hard work and value. Not by replacing it.

As someone who learned to code without AI, I am faster without GPT because I usually know what I'm going to do. Eventually I'll use AI for refactoring, or for completions, it's usually good for this. I'll also use it when I need to challenge my idea and see if it comes with something better.

As an educator, I can relate to this. We need to teach them how to make good use of AI. AI is there to help you doing tasks, not do it for you. At least, while you are not able to understand its output.

With Vueuse we can use this: vueuse.org/core/useConf... The second example with promises is maybe what you are looking for. I don't know about React but I guess you could easily implement your own behavior or look for similar libs with the terms used in the example

Bluesky's clearly thought of this. You can manage many sub-domain handles at once without needing domain records for each one! (Happy to advise any news organization interested in implementing this.) bsky.social/about/blog/4...
How can I set and manage multiple subdomain handles?
Organizations like newsrooms or companies may want to verify multiple affiliated individuals' accounts via subdomains. For example, a newsroom could set its journalists' handles to be @name.newsroom.com, or have multiple accounts for different verticals like @sports.newsroom.com. But managing many individual subdomains via TXT records can be cumbersome. In that case, you can use a non-DNS option by resolving multiple handles via HTTP under a .well-known route.

Need to replace that one dangling cable behind the screen because it's too short, and the two below are ethernet and main power cable. Pretty happy of the result.

I did a lot of Symfony for 3 years and I really loved it, so much that I didn't really pay attention to Laravel on the side. Do you day that because you're involved in Adonis or do you really think this? I kind of liked it, but never found the tooling around very practical

I'm wondering how can I improve the integration of Drizzle within a Nuxt project, I'm not sure adding those iframes provide much value. I'm thinking about providing a `useDrizzle` composable eventually, I'll need to think about it. But it still doesn't provide much value IMHO.

I miss PHP development. I need to try Laravel or do some Symfony. But I just love Typescript so much. I wish we could have something well structured as those, but in Typescript Closest thing that comes in mind is Nest.js but I'm not fully convinced by it, even though I worked 2 years with it

Update: you can also use @rphlmr.com 's visualizer (which seems cooler than mine tbh) with the following piece of code. I'm not sure there is a need to create a Nuxt module for that, or maybe I could create one to pass options to the viewer (and also embed Drizzle studio at the same time !)
import { addCustomTab, startSubprocess } from "@nuxt/devtools-kit";
import type { Nuxt } from "nuxt/schema";
import { consola } from "consola";

export function setupDrizzleVisualizer(nuxt: Nuxt) {
  const { getProcess, terminate } = startSubprocess(
    {
      command: "npx",
      args: ["drizzle-lab", "visualizer", "--port", "64738"],
      env: {
        NODE_ENV: "production",
      },
      cwd: nuxt.options.rootDir,
    },
    {
      id: "nuxt-drizzle-lab--visualizer",
      name: "Drizzle Visualizer",
    },
  );
  const { stderr, stdout } = getProcess();

  stdout?.on("data", (data) => {
    consola.log("`Drizzle:`", data.toString());
  });

  stderr?.on("data", (data) => {
    consola.error("`Drizzle:`", data.toString());
  });

  addCustomTab({
    name: "dizzle-visualizer",
    title: "Drizzle Visualizer",
    icon: "simple-icons:drizzle",
    view: {
      type: "iframe",
      src: "http://127.0.0.1:64738",
    },
  });

  nuxt.hook("close", () => terminate());
}

Last week, someone asked me the difference between "regular" functions and "arrow" functions in JS. I thought I knew the answer, and remembered I made a repo that showed the difference. I wrote this example code THREE YEARS AGO. I do not understand it anymore 😅 *frantically rewrites*
