The other day, amidst all the craziness of Continuing Resolution drama, I got to preside over the Senate for the first time. People asked me what it was like. It was inspiring, humbling, and that chair has a high center of gravity and can easily tip over. Be careful leaning back.

Whew! What a football weekend. Ducks nearly killt me, but pulled it out. The Lions won the way I like it, stress-free and fun. Chargers started out that way, then fell apart, and then won in the last minute. I’m exhausted

So, um, I worked all day, hit the grocery store after work so I don’t have to be subjected to that on the weekend, and I am deliriously happy it’s the weekend. Somehow happier today than I will be tomorrow when I won’t have worked/shopped, and WAY happier than I will be on Sunday. WTF brain?
