2-Yes, it's government data, but it's not available in a form people can use. So thanks to this, they'll go without data to support any sort of legislation and the public will get opinions only and not facts. What's next? Taking Westlaw & Lexis away from gov lawyers? They're the same kind of thing.

1-Well, Ken, here's the thing. RESEARCHERS will charge you a lot more if they have to do searches through public records to find things their agency and congressional folks need. As a librarian, subscription services save big bucks because the resource costs are shared among users.

Gavin Newsom is not a good governor. He was terrible for Cal during Covid. Closed state parks and beaches when outside was safe. I moved to AZ, able to hike and bike and social distance and BETTER outcomes than Cal had. Our Gov Hobbs is Dem and ♀️. AG Kris Mays too-sued 3X to stop Trump already!
